        Julio is cool ,

If i was in charge of his career id make a fight with him and Juan Diaz where Julio would beat the livng **** out of Juan at the same time get monster exposure, then i would put him in against another smaller title holder like Jesus Chavez, and now that chico is loosing his WBO belt id have him fight someone for the vacant WBO belt.

Corrales would chase castillo up to 140, and id have Julio reign terror on the lightweights. Id have him take it relatively easy once JLC slips up id make him jump to 140 for the rematch which he would probably win, then When Jorge Paez Jr grows up, id toss him into his retirement bout with him.

He'd KILL Juan Diaz. Juan Diaz, like Cotto fights like a "nice guy". You know what I mean? If they were really as ferocious as Vargas was, they'd be SO much better.

I would have suggested the Diaz vs Diaz match, but Juan's people wouldn't dare make that fight at this point.

not to single you out but everytime someone mentions juan diaz everyone starts acting like an ******* and trashing him like hes some cut rate piece of crap. he is a good fighter and he is 22 YEARS OLD WHICH IS 3 YEARS YOUNGER THAN JULIO DIAZ WAS WHEN HE FOUGHT CASTILLO (and julio was too young at 25 according to the consensus here)

so figure it out guys, if julio was too young at 25 to fight castillo then youre goddamn right juan is too young to fight the best guys at lightweight at 22 YEARS OLD. HOW CAN YOU TALK ABOUT A 28-0 22 YEAR OLD (WHO HOLDS A ****IN BELT BY THE WAY) LIKE HES A SPEEDBUMP FOR EVERYONE ELSE?

Sorry to butt in, but i feel its because he is indeed a speedbump for Julio, For Castillo, and Corrales. Dont get me wrong he might be able to give some top 130lb fighters trouble but he would get a brutal beating by all 3 fighters ive mentioned.

I think some of the criticism comes because Juan is overweight, he's had a title for about 1 year and a half and hes yet to fight anyone of note. He is just holding that title, he didnt beat anybody of name for it and he hasnt defended it against a sombody either.

I agree that he is inexperienced, he should be fighting at 130 where he might pose a threat, but to hold a title that most people feel its without merit is where the criticism comes from. A paper champion.

pretty much everyone in the division is a speed bump for those guys if you want to look at it that way. the way i look at it is that castillo and corrales will be gone and he will be fighting anyone and everyone at that weight by the time he is 25. maybe hes waiting around for castillo and corrales to leave, maybe he is overweight and lazy like you say, but it is definately way too early to jump to conclusions on him, in my opinion.

i think hed have the same problems at 130 with the top 3-4 guys as he would with cast. and diego. he has always fought at lightweight and has only spoken of moving up as far as i know.

I think Juan Diaz has some promise, but he baloons up in weight, and has been very protected.
