Why is everyone going to marquez to get his opinion on everything? They should ask him about the economy and the main issues with global warming.

This is so true. I don't know why no one gives Mares props, he is doing the same thing Andre Ward did, but then again, most people didn't give him props either. Mares beat everyone he wasn't supposed to starting Yhonny Perez until now. People need to stop hating on this kid and give him his credit due.

Marquez is snubbing the hell outta Canelo, but he's doing it with facts. I don't even think its intentional. Mares does have a bad ass resume and he top 10 p4p on my list ( not that that counts for anything). Marquez is probably right and if they start putting Mares on Floyd or Canelo undercards I think he'll get the shine to get that consideration.

Because it makes since to get his opinion. That's exactly why you'll find that most people won't want it.

Because Marquez doesn't really see anything special. He called Canelo unprofessional for not even meeting his catch weight against Hatton and Canelo challenges him to a fight at 154. He criticizes his opposition and he challenges him again.

IMO, Mares deserves more attention than Canelo because he's been through the harder and tougher fights. Canelo has just made it through his first one.
