This is why Alvarado didn't get Pacquiao

Recent as of last week? I Steve Kim of Maxboxing just said Alvarado is out for the rest of the year 4 hours ago? Obviously his hand has been hurting for a bit and who knows maybe part of the reason the Pac fight fell through (although in your defence, my su****ion is that its not).BECAUSE THE ARGUEMENT IS ALVARADO DESERVES THE FIGHT, NOT RIOS. You're the thick-headed one. No, Mike Alvarado isn't out for the year, his ****ing manager was in the middle of negotiating this fight for SEPTEMBER. Do you not read the articles on the main page? This was recent as of LAST WEEK.
Btw I asked you to reclarify your last sentence 2 posts ago. You didnt so heres my answer based on my interpretation.
If Rios is better than Alvarado, then as youre logic says, it is not a tune up fight. Im not putting words in your mouth, thats simply what you stated. If it is not a tune up fight why the **** are you still here?
If Alvarado is better than Rios, then as youre logic says, the Pac-Rios is a tune up fight. BUT DIDNT I ALREADY SAY THAT PAC CAN BE FORGIVEN IF HE HAS A TUNE UP FIGHT. THATS MY ARGUMENT DUDE! Let's leave it at that?Comment

Don't worry about it too much mate, the thread starter is just hating as hard as he can. Throughout the history of boxing, whenever a fighter has had a hard KO loss, they always come back against a SOFT opponent. The thing here is, Rios isn't that soft, he's a good B+ fighter with power and it will be an entertaining fight that will also answer questions about Pac's longevity in the sport.Recent as of last week? No, you're twisting the arguement around, deflecting it away from what a previous poster already stated. You can't have two people arguing for why Rios is a better alternative than Alvarado but have one person saying Rios is a tougher opponent for Pacquiao, and have the other person say Rios is a tune-up fight. Do you not understand this? Go back and read the entire arguement before posting your thoughts.Recent as of last week? I'm not buying the Alvarado hand injury, so I'm not commenting on it more than I already have. Read the Denver Post news article I just linked. Something sounds fishy to me.Comment

People are saying that Alvarado is out because of this (see below). Still needs to be confirmed I presume.
Someone posted this:
RT @stevemaxboxing: Alvarado's manager, Henry Delgado says that 'Mile High' is out the rest of the year, his right-hands is still bothering him.... #boxing
Now let's get on topic: Being that Alvarado is out, Rios was the next option since BOTH Marquez and Bradley didn't want to fight Manny. Manny wanted to fight them.
Secondly, Floyd has been cherry picking for like forever but have you guys been complaining about that?
"Who is Guerrero? Who has he fought? I'm no Berto!" - Floyd Mayweather
He tells you guys in your face yet you guys keep on protecting him!!!Last edited by ADP02; 05-06-2013, 09:46 PM.Comment

I'm not hating on Pacquiao as a fighter, I'm hating on the fact that he's hand-picking/cherry picking fighters that are tailor made for himi to look good. Get over it. Check my thread a while back where I gave Pacquiao credit for fights other Floyd nuthuggers try to discredit him for.Don't worry about it too much mate, the thread starter is just hating as hard as he can. im a no fan of rios far from it but to say he is a joke is just not liking every style in boxing ... what i said is he's no joke.. but not elite and shouldn't last with pac ... rios is a brawler tough chin good pop solid work rate .. does he beat all the great fighters in the 140-147 division .. no! but he will make them work that is what some of fans don't get ... sakio bika is perfect example or emanuel augustus never elite but far from jokes list continues ...i agree with your your post except where you say "rios is no joke." thats where you lose credibility, cause rios IS a joke. he is probably the biggest joke in all of boxing, bigger than JCC jr. rios is a tomato can - a flat footed, skill-less, craftless, BUM. with that said, the other part of your post is well writtenComment
