One thing about combat sports Floyd, you NEVER run out of foes. When you're the best, the fans and media want you to fight the next best guy.

Aren't you the same guy that said Floyd was gonna get a beating from Guerrero? Now he's a cherry picker again because he beat the guy you thought he'd lose to.

Mayweather ain't ducking and Canelo ain't good enough yet

Canelo is my boy but c'mon i don't believe one bit he's ready for Floyd, Floyd is a living legend and has been dominating boxing for 17 years or whatever the number of years it is, and he has class, never talked **** about anyone he sparred when he was young like Pernell Whitaker and all those great fighters, unlike that little piece of ***** Karim Mayfield going up to Danny Swift like a homeless n!&&a talking about "i deserve a shot, i'll whoop you Danny Garcia" and all this ***** talking and he be talking ***** about sparring the great Pacquiao saying he landed on him like he whooped him or something , like Angel said "get in the top ten first ni&&a", Floyd never did that dumbass ***** when he was coming up, much respect to the champ, just like we were fortunate enough to watch Jordan play basketball, those of us that were fortunate enough to watch him while he was in his prime, we're blessed to watch one of the greatest fighters ever, stop hatin haters talking about cherrypicking and running and all this crap, Floyd is the greatest of his era

He has avoided lots of dangerous fighters when they were at they're most dangerous. I'm not sure if Canelo fits into that category, but its starting to feel like the same story all over again.

This is the side of him that I don't like as a boxing fan it is too frustrating. I think part of it is his dad has made him an insecure person from an early age, and even with all the bragging, and bravado, he doesn't actually realise how good he is, it's sad because he had the ability in my opinion to go down as THE best ever, but he will never fulfil it because of his lack of desire to chase the greatest challenges out there.
These great challenges would be? Lol, man I tell you. The disrespect to what Floyd has brought to this sport is ridiculous. I guess Floyd fought 44 tomato cans and everyone he didn't fight were the one's who would've knocked his head off. Lmao what is wrong with you people.

I agree and even if he doesn't fight Canelo he will still have foes: Alexander, Khan, Spadafora....Ortiz rematch, Berto

De La Hoya ok, i'll give him that although De La Hoya was past his prime. JMM, he came in heavy, paid the fine and "whopped" his ass. Mosley, was done long before then. Ortiz, well we know what happened there, and in any case it was Ortiz. Cotto, again waited too long. Guerrero, doesn't belong. If you can make an argument that there weren't better fights available at the time then make it. Hatton was the only one who was on top when they fought. All the others were picked for a reason. So, if he wants to be considered an ATG, fight the best. Believe me he has the ability to choose WHOEVER he wants. There is no logical reason why he can't fight the best if he wanted to. He's undefeated and generates the most money, why would anybody turn down an offer to fight him?
Shane Mosley was the #1 ranked welter at the time, coming off of the best win of his career. He was not in his prime, and neither was Floyd. Ortiz was the #1 ranked welter at the time, and in his prime. Cotto was the #1 ranked jr middle. He was not in his prime and neither was Floyd. Guerrero was the#3 ranked welter, because Floyd already beat the hell out of the #2 guy. And Guerrero was in his prime and the only threat in the weight class. What is wrong with these opponents? Seriously, ask yourself that question. Maybe you want to see this past prime Floyd fight the up an coming prime fighters. Nothing wrong with that, but don't act as if Floyd isn't fighting legitimate competition. Canelo has 1 legit win under his belt, Sergio is injured, a legit middle weight, and is on the decline. And Pacquiao is on a losing streak. You tell me what you want Floyd to do.

Honestly, it's money. Him and his advisers know this, they know his persona generates millions and millions. However, it only generates it because he's so arrogant and is undefeated. Perfect example is Pacquiao. I don't care if you dislike the guy or what, he's fought the best or the best available option every time. This however came at a gamble, a gamble which he lost. Now everybody considers Pac done and his stock has fallen. This is exactly what they want to avoid with Mayweather. I'm not saying he would lose, but why take the risk when he can continue generating millions by simple marketing ploys. It works, he's still undefeated and the casual boxing fan doesn't know the difference. The casual boxing fan is manipulated by shows like All Access, 24/7, Mayweather's age, jail term, blah, blah, blah and it works. The reality is he's an A+ plus boxer fighting B+ boxers or has beens. Until people stop paying to watch him or going to his fights, its going to continue. Why wouldn't it?

I'm not trying to hate but I don't quite what he's trying to say. Of course more opponents will come, this isn't a videogame.
