That's why I don't pay for his fights, I just watch on a free stream. When he gets in the ring with a fan picked opponent and not a cherry pic then I'll pay.

      1. That's a horrible excuse from Floyd. It's professional sports. In the NFL, NBA, NHL, pro soccer, golf, tennis, track and field, etc. etc., once you win a tournament game its on to the next one. Boxing is no different. If you don't like it retire.

      2. People need to be patient. He is fighting Canelo in September. He can't say **** in the media because he doesn't want to give away the upper hand in negotiations.

I guarantee you this fight happens this year and I will take on any bets.

He's not going to fight Canelo. Why? Because that's who everybody wants him to fight.

Floyd rarely fights the guy that the public is calling for, it's the root of everyone's frustrations with him. He would beat Alvarez if they fought in September- if he waits longer that fight only gets tougher for him (because it's at 154.) Floyd's speed is going to be less in another year, and even more so in another 2 years.

I think logically he should take that fight ASAP and get the W. He can cruise on easier guys after that and take 100% less crap from everybody watching and paying for his PPV's.

All that said- I won't be surprised when he pulls out a guy like Amir Khan, Danny Garcia- or one of these names at 140 instead of looking north to 154. Get ready for it.

That just shows that you give little credit and thought to what Floyd presents to the ring. You're only thinking about what those guys can do.

Floyd at his best, ducking the best foe out Canelo Alvarez, there's nobody else, and may I add still scared of Pacquiao, style makes fight, and both guys have speed and power to pose a great risk to Floyd.

Floyd is always making excuses as to why he dont have to fight someone, rather than just fight

When Wlad or Pac or BH now even win a fight, there is always someone else, so why is it different for you?
When you beat SSM at WW, there was other WWs queing up to fight you but you gave the silent treatment. Beating SSM doesnt mean you dont have to do anything else!
Well......Shane was the #1 ranked welter weight, coming off the his biggest win of his career. And then when Floyd beat him, he went and fought the #1 ranked welter weight in Victor Ortiz, coming off the biggest win of his career. Then he went and fought the #1 ranked jr middle weight. Now he just beat the #3 contender at Welter because he beat the hell out of the #2 guy already. I really do not see the problem with his opposition.

Floyd will fight who he wants he is his own boss in his mind. We should just expect Floyd to fight Khan, Garcia, Alexander, Ortiz and ???? Canelo should carve his own path.
