He must be the weakest puncher of all time to land that much and do so little damage

He averaged 39 thrown punches per round.

          That's low.

          He ran quite a bit.

I would have liked to see him run less and throw more.

He has so much more to offer but get he did his thing

and took his safety first approach.

          All the power to him.

Man listen to yourself bro, every boxer that has a brain should be taking as little risk as their abilities will allow them to take. The fighters that don't choose a "safety first approach" end up paying the price long after their careers are over. How do you think Mayweather has maintained such a long career?

What you call "running" I call boxing......

It's okay man, nobody realizes that moving to get out of a punch is called boxing. What was Floyd supposed to do? Stand still and stay on the ropes?

Quite honestly that's what it seems some fans are asking for. Essentially they want a stationary Mayweather to stand in front of his opponents to be susceptible to a high volume of hard punches. If that's the case why put a pair of gloves on him, just hunt him down in the dead of night and string him up some tree. We watch fighters to admire the skill that they combat their opponents with yet there is this blind bloodlust out there for men to beat each other to a bloody pulp, mindlessly and violently.
