Bute still has the timing, hand and foot speed to give Hopkins a lot of think about it. And the fact that Hopkins is such a cautious, defensive-minded fighter with mediocre power helps a lot, too.

It's the quick, athletically gifted fighters that give Hopkins the most trouble at this point. Pascal may have had those attributes, but he's also a fighter with incredibly limited stamina and ring intelligence.

      B-Hop should retire, of course...
But he still thinks he deserves one or two big pursers at least...

why do you say that? clearly he can keep fighting top fighters and come out unscathed, so why would he retire when he loves the sport and can continue fighting on at an elite level. sorry, but this statement just makes no sense to me. if you said that about roy jones, jr i would agree, but why should bhop retire exactly?

Why? He's doing what he enjoys, he's still very good at it and he doesn't just take on tomato cans for a payday.

He has nothing left to prove and let's not kid ourselves: This sport is dangerous.

I would close my eyes and pick Froch over Hopkins.

the sport is dangerous for a 28 year old, OR a 48 year old. bhop still has lots left in the tank apparently. he hasnt taken much punishment in his career, and his ring IQ makes the sport as least dangerous as it can, so i say he should continue on if he wants to. obviously he can...

Wow! He'll go overseas to fight Froch? I wouldn't mind seeing that. I think he'd lose to Froch

A 28 year old has much the better reflexes than a 48 year old. If he continues this will NOT be a happy end.

The sport is dangerous for anyone. I don't see him taking much punishment. As long as he can still fight at this level I see no problem with it. If he starts taking beatings Ala Jones I'll change my opinion.
