IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (53-6-2) has advised BoxingScene.com that he plans on fighting a total of three times this year. The 48-year-old Hopkins is the oldest champion in boxing history. He broke his own record in March, as the oldest man ever to win a major world championship, when he captured the IBF light heayvweight title by handing Tavoris Cloud his first career defeat in a fight televised by HBO.

B-Hop still wants big ticket sellers in their backyards...
B-Hop already called Bute back in 2012 -- in order to prevent him from fighting Ward (but, eventually, Froch lured Bute in England)...
            B-Hop also called Cleverly lately...
Look now: as remembering how badly Ward nullified Froch, I trust that the Bute fight would be more entertaining.

I am not surprised that Hopkins doesn't mention Kessler. He already turned down a 4 million dollar offer.

This guy is the definition of a boxing legend. 48 and still fighting the very best fighters out there.
