and they kept saying that same thing since he was 40, and so far so good. i think bhop will know when its time to go, and he has a few left in him, thats undeniable

I reckon only about a handful of top fighters has known the right time to go themselves.

Anyway he can obviously do what he wants, but personally I'd like to see him go away with all his marbles.

48 years old and planning on fighting 3 times in a year? Crazy. It's been a long long time since he's fought three times.

I'd love to see BHop unify or go out on a big win against a superstar like Froch, but I have to agree. 28 year olds recover from beatings, it may only take one at 48 for him to start sounding like Shane Mosley/James Toney.

I like it. He always fought best when he was super active.

How much money do you think B-Hop will make from a Karo Murat fight?
Hopkins has to go after Hearn or Interbox in order to get a decent purse... And soon...

I think he should go after one big win and go. At his age, it'll take one punch to mess Hopkins' health up but to be fair, this is no ordinary 48 year old

Yeah I agree, that is the most likely outcome, that is actually the most likely outcome with anybody he fights. I have never enjoyed watching Hopkins, his fights are pretty boring, but this guy is amazing, the fact that he can continue to fight world class fighters and beat a lot of them is incredible, and when he does lose, he never gets beat up. In the last 25 years of being a pro boxer, the only 2 fighters to really beat him were Roy Jones Jr and Chad Dawson, of course he has other losses and I am not saying he won them but they were pretty controversial and he definitely didn't lose in the way most boxers lose a fight.
His style is dirty, its technical and its boring but fuuuck, when your 48 and still being able to pull it off and compete at the elite level in your sport, I don't think that has ever been done.

You should watch tapes of him before he hit his late 30s-40s. He was a very entertaining, high-stamina pressure fighter. Just like Marco Antonio Barrera, he had to evolve and adapt his style to suit his physical capabilities.
