Is Manuel Charr a satisfactory opponent for David Haye?

Personally, I think he's an okay opponent.

Some people repeatedly bashed Vitali Klitschko for choosing Manuel Charr as an opponent, even though they say Vitali is just another contender like Haye and a paper champion.

Do those people think Charr is okay for Haye?

No. He's NOT a good opponent for either, they both should fight top ten HWs

No. He wasn't good for Klitschko and he's not for Haye. David Haye should have fought Pulev.

As a return fight used to build intererest in a Viatli fight its ok.

Vitali got criticism because Charr is another in a line of avearge/below average HWT's Vitali has fought.

I honestly did expect worse as I haven't much faith in Haye. I don't think its a bad opponent hes been out a year, Charr is prime, strong as an ox, hungry and will come to win. He is bigger, stronger & less wild than Chisora who I find horrifically overrated.

Not a great opponent but perfectly acceptable.

Seeing as he will be one of at least 4 opponents before hopefully fighting Vitali, yes.

Good to see you don't go by a double standard.

Haye plans on wasting another 2 years before fighting Vitali who by that time will be 44?

Satisfactory is the perfect word to describe this choice of opponent. It's certainly nothing more than that. I'll definitely cut Haye some slack on this one though, and I think the fact that he has signed a new contract with Sky & Eddie Hearn means we can be very confident that Haye is serious in this comeback and we're going to see him in with some top guys. At this stage, I don't think Sky would touch Haye with a bargepole if that wasn't the plan.

I keep it real. Charr was s**t for Vitali, and he's s**t for Haye.

Charr would be a suitable opponent for someone like Malik Scott or Bryant Jennings, someone coming up.

Haye really can not win can he. If he just calls out Vitali, wanting a fight now, he is just look for a big payday. If he fights his way to contention, he's just waiting for Vitali to get older and more vulnerable.
