Khans CHIN is not the problem

Sick of people saying amir khan has a glass chin, from what i saw that is NOT the problem.

He takes far too many CLEAN shots, his defence is probably the worst i've ever seen at this level.

If khan has a glass chin then mayweather has 1 KO power after disposing of ortiz, i feel that scenario offers the best resemblance .

I was scared for him after watching last nights fight, he never puts his hands up even though he himself must know he is suceptible to the left hook.

His style will get him KO'd again and again, because hes so open to counters after his 3/4 punch combos.

How is his chin not the problem? Every time he gets hits he is all the shop or on the canvas but his defensive flaws certainly do not help matters.

He gets hit with HUGE shots .

A glass chin would send him chicken dancing after grazed shots.

      This is NOT the case.

Khan's problem is discipline. He showboats, drops his guard, and gets caught.

Disagree. There's many guys who take far more hits and still fire back. It's not like Amir is even average in his ability to take punishment. Kahn gets dazed easily and while I won't bash him for that, it's a clear weakness. He does MUCH better when he is lightning on his feet, never getting touched. When he gets hit, he feels it bad and I call that a chin issue.

His chin is part of the problem. A big part.

No disrespect but how can you say khan doesn't fire back?

Thats the main reason he gets KTFO.

                Agreed to a certain extent...

Think its more of his recouping ability..

Look at the slowmo of prescott and garcia knockdowns, most boxers would not be able to get back up...

Its a mixture of weak chin, taking too many flush shots and the inability to recouporate fast enough..

Yet every other fights seems to be able to take these HUGE shots perfectly fine but Khan, go figure.

Willie Limmond, Michael Gomez are not punchers at any weight.

Chicken dancing lol take it you didn't see him against Prescott, Maidana, Limmond, Gomez, Peterson, Garcia, Diaz?

Khan's problem is not only his chin but several other glaring weaknesses that all work against him and make him an average fighter.
