Are people really questioning Khan's chin? C'mon bro it's made of glass.

It's like his body is not made for boxing. 80/90% of the time he gets hit flush his body reacts in such a negative way and last night I winced every time he got caught because I felt like the kid was going to crumble.

His defence is awful and he can't fight on the back foot for ****. He takes far too many clean shots and for a guy who has a chin made of china that's not exactly smart.

I worry for Khan's life if he steps in there with Garcia (and I don't even rate Garcia) or Matthysse.

It's not a good chin at all however i do agree that his defence is more the problem than his chin. No other top fighter takes so many CLEAN shots straight to the jaw, most fighters who get hit with full bodied clean shots will be hurt regardless of the opposition. It's just the fact that Khan has no defence and gets hit so often which is why he goes down a lot. He showed against Maidana that his chin can take some punishment.
But whatever it is i don't see him making his way back to elite status now because he looks like damaged goods and can't seem to get out of the way of punches. I also think it's too late to change his style so no matter how many trainers he goes through he will still get KO'ed when he faces the top guys.

Khan got a lot of bad things going for him. chin is garbage. takes him several rounds to recover. he doesn't see the punches coming that's why he always gets hurt

You realise Diaz is a career lightweight right!? Did you see the difference in them last night, Khan was much bigger than him

His chin is a problem. Guys like Margarito went years using their face as a defence and took plenty flush shots without breakdancing around the ring. It eventually caught up with them.

Khan's defence is poor, he takes too many unnecessary shots, and when he does get shaken he doesn't react well.

No, the worst are blinded fanboys. Khan has glass chin, weak at best. Deal with it and get lost

How the **** can anyone defend Amir's chin? Saying Amir's chin isn't glass is the same as saying Amir's dad doesn't have awful teeth

                    OK.

It's the trainers fault. Pick a trainers name out of a hat.

khan's chin is obviously a problem. his defence is obviously a problem. to what extent each contributes to his apparent "frailness" is obviously debatable.

i would think that there is little he can do about his chin - or lack of. his defence can probably be improved, although it might be a little late to make those kind of improvements with a guy that is fighting at his level.

irrespective of those factors, it has got to be worrying for khan, and Golden Boy who are doing all they can to protect and move him back to a title shot, that he struggled so badly against a handpicked career lightweight.
