Why are people calling Broner-Malignaggi a cherry pick?

Ur blaming him for not fighting khan but look who khan is fighting. He's rebuilding. U think Broner wouldn't jump at the chance to fight him? Team khan would not take that fight and its hard to blame them, Broner has nothing they want. They want Garcia and Peterson and belts, Broner offers money and a likely loss. Its not gonna happen. Khan's got to fight somebody later this year. He's not going to sit around until the tournament is complete and wait for the winner.

Its a 4 man tourney consisting of the top 140lbers in the world, all of which have been there for years. Where does Broner break in that? Would it have been nice for him to be in it? Of course, but if its not a realistic possibility that isn't his fault. I mean he's one fighter on gbp. Gbp didn't figure him into the tourney. The fighters that are in the tourney belong there. So who do u get rid of to add Broner? Where does he fit in?

Broner needs to be in this tournament. Period. No excuses.

I gave him a pass for Gavin Rees because Burns was a *****. Malignaggi is a **** fight so that's two in a row. After this its time to step up.

And don't ever put Broner's name near Floyd's. At least not yet. Floyd fought killers like Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo when he was on the come up.

Yea he was trying to make money and pick up another belt. Not a bad idea when your only real option is richar abril. Its really not the travesty pplmact like it is. Now if he sits at we and does nothing then ppl have a right to complain, but I highly doubt that happens. Broner has largely not been a protected fighter. Its funny that ppl act like he was.

In my opinion it's not a cherry pick, but they are after the one that will not give him a lot of problems in terms of power. He didn't go after Lucas, Rios or Guerrero.

Hope that Paulie does a Senchenko on Broner, cannot stand his character and arrogance, but for sure the guy is talented.
