A "no-no" according to whom? The commission would've outed his ass a long time ago if it were a real "no-no".

"OOOooh, but Floyd's got the commission in his back pocket!"
      Silly me. Should'a known.

      None.

Even with the mega-fight called off, Manny had the chance to do his own random testing with USADA and VADA to prove a point.

      He doesn't need to anymore.
I like how Mayweather did this illegal action on camera for everybody to see on 24/7. How did the commission miss that!?

See that's all I'm trying to figure out; if you're going to tell every media outlet that you agreed to random drug testing, why not just incorporate it in your own fights to prove that you really wanted to make the Mayweather fight happen. Everybody else agreed and the fights got made.

/end thread. Demand testing, then dope. GBP will take care of positive results. There's nothing worse.

Well I brought up the topic because I am not a floyd worshipper so at least in that way your logic holds true. But I do wonder about another aspect. I read the article about the writer who spoke on the positive tests. Was there any other source that you used to confirm this? Surely you aren't forming such a strong opinion on the positive/negative test results of a fighter based on one source.

And this is not to say that Floyd is a clean fighter. I give no one the benefit of the doubt when it comes to using PEDS in this era. Everyones test negative until the actual time they get cuaght. This question is simply asking do you feel this will have any significant role on his legacy. I hate the fact that any thread that mentions their two names always has to turn into a *******/***** war.

Damn you see how bad its gotten the words Pac.tard and flo.mo can't even be used anymore lol

They were random--unlike commission-sanctioned testing. So, has pac ever done random drug testing?
knowing the timeframe in which you are to be tested is not in any way random.

Really? How did ESPN and Yahoo! Sports miss that?

Wow! Manny had a great opportunity to prove Floyd was dirty back then when it mattered the most. The entire world media would've wasted no time telling the world about it.

Tsk, Tsk. So Manny waited 'til Floyd fought other guys to prove he was dirty all this time and STILL passed up a multi-million dollar pay day?

              That's a doggone shame.

If you dont know when its coming on what day , its random , where do you kids get logic from ?

Would you take PEDS knowing your going to be random blood tested anywhere anytime during the 8 wks before fight time , NO , neither would an elite athlete that if caught will blow his entire career !!

This is what makes random testing such a powerful tool and during the most intense training for a boxer is when its best put to use , when do you think the most intense training for a boxer happens , jeez there are some real idiots in here .

Yep. Hypocrisy at its worst. Demand test, then dope. It's evil. Use peds and at the same time prevent your opponent from roiding. You get the advantage of being roided in the fight and at the same time make it look like you're the MLK of the sport.

Do you think Floyd testing positive to PEDS would not be huge national news , it would go viral world wide in an hour , you kids are such a delusional bunch of gossip whores that live out of the Examiner and other propaganda sites , and you lot are to full of hate to makes any sort of rational out of anything , common sense goes out the window with you kids .

The problem is that it's not the diehard boxing fans who will define Pacquiao's legacy but the sports insiders and journos who have always been kinder to Manny than Mayweather. 50 years from now more people will remember Larry Merchant's rant about why PBF ducked Manny Pacquiao. So no, the "Say No To Drugs" testing campaign won't hurt Pac's legacy one bit. It will hurt Mayweather's.
