Yes its too much of a hassle to wait for a guy who fights in a week when September is 5 months away rite? That doesn't even make sense. This seems like a total about face.

Or maybe they look at Floyd's history of saying he is going to fight more than once a year but it never happens.
Remember after the Ortiz fight he was saying he wanted to come back in February of 2012 and fight twice before his jail stint and then again at the end of the year? Then he said he was going to fight again after the Cotto fight, gets out and is not heard from until the Guerrero announcement.
If your Golden Boy you make your move now. Sell out Cowboy stadium and give Cotto one more payday and take care of your cash cow for the next 10-12 years.
