The question is, why wouldn't Showtime prefer this fight?
You get the biggest Mexican draw on Mexican Independance day fighting a proven PPV draw in Cowboy Stadium or....
You pay Floyd $30 million to make a fight with Devon Alexander that no one wants to see (much less pay for) that will be universally panned the second its announced.
Gee, that seems like a tough one for Golden Boy/Showtime.
