I'm tired of this BS excuse that Canelo will outweigh Gayweather on fight night. I'm sure Mayweather outweighed Marquez and I'm positive Chavez Jr outweighed Martinez and Margarito outweighed Cotto and Pacquiao. Floyd had no problems picking on guys smaller like Marquez and Hatton. FOLYD faught Cotto at 154 pounds why not Canelo, he's going to use the following excuses Mark my words, Canelos to big, who has he faught, Canelo is using PEDS, and one c again chicken Floyd on the run... never taking great risk like other greater fighters have taken.

Everybody on this forum knows Mayweather is light years ahead of canelo when it comes to boxing skills. They want that fight because of the BIG size advantage Canelo will have on Floyd. If my math is correct Floyd will come in no more than 150 on fight night while canelo is at 172... that is 22 pounds difference.

David Haye fought a guy with a 97 lb advantage and beat him. Eddie Chambers fought a guy with a 45 lb weight advantage and beat him. Sultan Ibragimov fought a guy with a 52 lb weight advantage and won. Evander Holyfield fought a guy with a 49 lb weight advantage and won. Chagaev fought a guy with a 91 lb weight advantage and won.

All these fights were at HW, where there is no weight limit.

Besides, you may have noticed that the higher the weight class, the wider the weight margin. You have 122lbs, 126lbs and 130lbs , and you have 154-160-168.

That's because the weight difference is calculated as a percentage.
For instance, a 100lbs fighting a 150lbs , gives up 50% of his total weight.
A 200lbs fighting a 250lbs only gives up 25% .

Right, I wrote this before reading your post or somebody who posted the same thing. I just don't see Floyd fight someone that heavy. I don't know if everyone can agree, but Floyd is little. I saw him in Detroit when he was promoting a fight there. He was with Broner. I grew up about two and a half hours away from him in Saginaw, MI and we are months apart in age. When I saw him, all I could think is this dude looks like me when I was in high school. Floyd is very small and I don't even think he was training for this fight yet. Broner looked a little bigger than him (But it could of been the bigger/saggier clothes) but about an inch shorter. There's no way that he should be fighting someone that is going to be 172 pounds on fight night. If he does, I don't care, it'll be exciting for me, but no one, not PacMan, Marquez, or whoever should fight someone 20 pounds heavier than them, just like Canelo shouldn't fight a Crusier weight if they are going to be a heavyweight the night of the fight.

PacMan fought Margo 20+ pounds heavier than him, why can't chicken do it. Canelo curse is on the streak, beware!
