Everybody on this forum knows Mayweather is light years ahead of canelo when it comes to boxing skills. They want that fight because of the BIG size advantage Canelo will have on Floyd. If my math is correct Floyd will come in no more than 150 on fight night while canelo is at 172... that is 22 pounds difference.

Canelo wants Floyd so bad he should fight him at 147 with a re-hydration claws of no more than 15 pounds. If canelo can make that than too bad... fight people who campaign at his weight class. But canelo's day is coming because he has two young hungry knock-out artist such as Thurman and Broner that will be on his ass these next couple of fights mark my words.

And I have a hence when Broner does step up to jr middle weight to fight canelo he will not be outweighed by much, and he won't be looking to get a decision either. Same with Thurman you heard it here first.

LMAO at Broner and Thurman. Broner would be taken out in a stretcher if he got in the ring with Canelo.

Your absolutely right, and it makes the most sense. Mayweather has a 30 month deal so he might as well unify at 147, and bring up the winner of the 140 tourney before taking on Canelo on Mexican Independent day next Sept. Meanwhile, Canelo can get his PPV numbers up fighting guys like Angulo and Kirkland to solidify his position before the showdown with Money May.

Man up? Why is that a problem of Floyd fights guys his own size. Canelo is a light heavyweight fighting at 154. Why doesn't he man up and fight Martinez or Chavez or GGG, Those guys are more his size than Floyd. Why fight a guy who has a significant size advantage. Hold Canelo to the same standard, why is not challenging the middleweights?

Why doesn't he want the best Canelo at his comfortable weight? Because chicken Floyd picks and chooses and is very selective with who he fights n he knows Canelo is a young lion n hits like a truck. Floyd fought Oscar at 54 n Cotto at 54 n the cotto fight was only a year ago. No need for Canelo to go down. Floyd said it himself, he hates catchweights, n wants his opponent at their best weight just like he said for Cotto.
Cotto started at 140 and grew to that weight. Canelo drops 20-30 lbs to make 154.
