Don't know what fight you were at but I was in the Alomodome and Canelo was the reason everyone was there. I saw Ray friggen Lewis at the fight and heard the Lakers were there too. What other reason would Ray Lewis have for coming to SA if he wasn't interested in the fight?
Maybe the OP is just mad because he could only afford the nosebleads. I had some decent seats and had a good view of the action. Looking up I can see where you would be butthurt, there was no good viewing angle in the upper deck and it was hard to see the jumbotron screens.
Canelo would sell out in Vegas as well, Mexicans support boxing more than anyone else. They would show up.

Agree. The so called badass Mexican coasted on the champion ship rounds against a guy that couldn't hurt him cause he was informed he was way up in the cards. That **** was weak. Even Rigo pressed the action in the last round when he didn't have to against a guy that had dropped him earlier and had power to knock him out. Morales pressed that action when he was up on the cards against Pac and even switched to south just to clown Pac who was still dangerous. This was Canelo's moment to shine and what does he do, he plays it safe against a guy that couldn't hurt him. Open scoring does suck cause it tames brawlers and takes the game out of technictions.

Can't blame Canelo for fighting smart. I didnt think he was ahead that much but judges did so he fought accordingly even though he looked lazy to me. Its no different than running the ball or taking secs off the shot clock in hoops.
