    Conclusion: no clear winner?

    Like Pac-Marquez 1, 2 and 3
    Calzaghe-Hopkins

Fair enough. Canelo-Trout 2 is a mixup then.

How can anyone claim Canelo is the best 154lber if noone can clearly say he can beat Trout again?

Compubox is only useful if it suits your agenda.

People disgrace it when it doesn't favour the person they rooted for. Claiming it's just an old guy pressing buttons, prone to error just like a scorecard.

Yet they'll use it, as seen here, when it favours their fighter.

Compubox should never be used as a basis for an argument.

He'll be very hard to beat with the cushion he'll be getting on the scorecards. Still, he's at least proved he belongs with the best at 154. Open scoring really messed up the fight dynamics. I had Trout by a point, but Canelo coasted in rd 12 since it was won on the cards.

To be fair, it might have been a conclusive victory for Canelo if he didn't know that he was able to coast at the end. Open scorecards are ******ed.

That aside, scored for Trout. Can easily see a Canelo victory too.

Trout himself said he lost, he never had anything to bother canelo and half of his slap jabs missed.

I had it 114-113 Trout. A couple of the rounds were pretty tight so it could have gone either way. No way was this a clear victory.

Al Haymon told Austin to keep it classy and take his money, while fading off into the Texas horizon. Don't be surprised if you see less than three televised Trout fights the rest of his career

Makes me even angrier to see those scores. Sane people had it a close fight that could have gone either way, it was damn near 50-50 with the press on who won, yet the fight was over after 8 rounds.

**** Golden Boy. Can't even let the ginger take a risk without fixing everything.

Open scoring ruined this fight. Alvarez never stepped on the gas, and Trout had no chance to win and knew it.

Dude its the ring... What do you expect? Once Guerrero loses May 4th they will drop him and add Canelo to the P4P list while leaving Rigo out.

I thought Trout edged it by two points.
