And then when Canelo beats Martinez, Lara, or Golovkin, you will say "Well, Lara, Golovkin, and Martinez are no Andre Ward, Carl Froch, or Bernard Hopkins...how about that cowardly red head go up and face them!"
This is a textbook example of "slippery slope," a logical fallacy.
I'm having a tough time placing Canelo in the top ten right now. I definitely have him in the top 15. I really want to see him get better, but I think his stamina is always going to be his downfall. And I don't think there is anything he can do about that either.

Sorry that you had Trout winning. You can not win a fight with jabs alone. Trout took the whole "Jab is the most important punch in boxing" to a whole new level. And being Paustin Troutanaggi, his power punches would feel like jabs anyway, that is if he would have actually landed them. Which he didn't, he made Canelo look like Pernell Whitaker.
What rounds did you give to canelo in the fight? Canelo may have won the fight but there could be an arguement made that Trout won. Canelo didnt dominate Trout and barely squeezed out a victory IMO. Canelo isnt top 10 just yet.
If Canelo is on there, then Trout has to be right behind him - as the decision of that fight is a pretty clear split, whatever your views are. You can't really dispute that. If Canelo dominated in most peoples eyes, then yes you could make a case. But really, the fight just showed that currently Canelo can be competitive with the top 154lbers, who aren't exactly P4P fighters (excluding Mayweather). Looking from a range of scores, most people scored it close for Canelo, or close for Trout. It wasn't a definitive win for him
The really only good thing about P4P lists is the fact official decisions do not have to be taken into account for obvious reasons
I guess the only reply you can really give to this is "oh but I scored it 120-108 to Canelo" or whatever. But if you're only taking your own views, then no, Trout is ahead of Canelo.
That's really not that bad a list there, Rome. You have all the right fighters, which is leagues beyond what even professional lists do sometimes.
Yea,My list is mad up of fighters who have done well currently and over the course of their careers..Which is why I can't put Alvarez in because he beat one top fighter in his div,not to mention the fighter was not P4P top 10 either..The reason Rigo got in my top 10 list is because he beat a top 5 P4P fighter..Which imo earned him top 10 spot, right at 10..
I don't know what the hell the ring is doing anymore..Broner and Guerrero even on the list period is a damn shame..
