I think he will get between 5-10 million, I'd even make Cotto-Canelo PPV to prove he can sale but Mayweather is turning down the biggest single payday in sports history for a reason.

No way should Canelo get 40% against Floyd. Manny should get 40% now, 45% before he was KO'd my Marquez. I think I read somewhere that Cotto got 35%, could be wrong though.

Floyd was a proven PPV fighter, selling between 300-400K PPV's before fighting Oscar, and he had to give up a major portion of the revenue split to get his fight against De La Hoya. The same should happen here.

If not, let Canelo fight Angulo on PPV and lets see how well he does.
Although Cotto has been on ppv, hes also 10 years ahead... Canelo is just as big and will be bigger imo.

Sounds good. I just don't want to hear any b*tching from these other guys when Floyd beats him either this year or next year.

I can't see how someone who takes off 2/3 of every round, lands maybe 2-3 significant eye catching punches, and who's stamina is shot after 4 rounds, is going to beat Mayweather.
Thats because he did beat a past it Cotto... was Cotto in his prime? Canelo fought on pace to beat Trout, he wasnt worried about the hundred little pitty pats, he knew his power was the equalizer and it was.

Do you think Floyd should take a play out of Arum's book and let the match-up "marinate"? Or will it benefit him more if he gets it over with ASAP?

No. But there's a difference between completely past it and not prime anymore. I don't Manny or Floyd are past it completely, but they aren't prime. They are still good.

Shane Mosley has been past it completely for a minute, and isn't good anymore.

I'd honestly like to see Floyd fight the Peterson-Matthysse winner late in the year, let Canelo fight the Lara/Angulo winner, also so we can hear how Floyd is afraid of fighting him.

Than May 2014 or September 2014, let's go with Floyd-Canelo. I'll be more convinced if Canelo can beat another top fighter at 154. He didn't impress last night, and neither did Trout.

And Trout didnt impress me vs Cotto, he looked vulnerable the entire fight, dont group me in with the "masses".

Trout impressed me versus Cotto. He got tagged by Cotto some, but he out fought Cotto a lot of times and had Cotto backing up at times too.

I don't feel either Trout or Canelo impressed me last night. I turned the TV off last night feeling let down.

Prime Cotto doesnt beat Floyd, so not prime Cotto definitely doesnt... it was a "good" win, thats it, and like I said... Floyd didnt look great.
