Floyd is already terrible undersized against 154 lb fighters, and people want him to fight full fledged Middleweights???

I'd like to see Floyd-Canelo, but Canelo, nor Trout, did anything last night to impress me and make me feel like that fight is a 100% right now. Let Canelo fight the Lara/Angulo winner next, because his conditioning was exposed last night. You aren't going to stay unbeaten very long when you gas after 4 rounds, and take off 2/3 of almost of every round.
Well, Floyd didnt exactly impress me vs a past it Cotto, if he looks thesame or worse vs Guerrero it looks like a great fight.

Cotto won 3 rounds against Floyd. See it's funny, Trout beats Cotto, impresses a ton of people. Floyd beats Cotto, he beat a "past it" Cotto.

Sounds good. I just don't want to hear any b*tching from these other guys when Floyd beats him either this year or next year.

I can't see how someone who takes off 2/3 of every round, lands maybe 2-3 significant eye catching punches, and who's stamina is shot after 4 rounds, is going to beat Mayweather.

****** thread. Canelo has every right to call out Floyd. The reasons are obvious and already been stated.

Amazing that people are still refusing to give Canelo credit here. He was getting out boxed through much of the fight, dug in and found a way to win. He showed very good craft and some slickness. Canelo has got MUCH better as a fighter. He deserves the credit and hype he is getting and he will give Mayweather a problem if not due to his size alone.

Everybody saying Canelo's stamina would be an issue against Mayweather...I doubt it.

        1. Canelo had to work to get inside on Trout. If you've ever boxed a taller, outside fighter, you know how exhausting that style of fighting is. This wouldn't be necessary against Mayweather since he's bigger.

        2. Mayweather likes to fight at a slower pace.

After the super exciting and well matched Floyd fight vs Guerrero and you see those huge ppv numbers that should answer your question. Since you have that question, answer what has Guerrero achieved? Who exactly was Guerrero before this fight? are you gonna tell me he was more famous than Canelo? Oh I get it now. You *****s only ask "who exactly is he?" when he is a threat to floyd but you exactly knew who was the huge ppv king and draw aka Guerrero who brings a ton of money to the table, more so than Canelo. Nice logic.

Mark my words, if the fight happens, and Floyd is the same guy he was last May 2012, he is going to beat Canelo's ass down the stretch. Floyd will win the fight 118-110/117-111.

It'll be target practice the second half of the fight.

Ringside was 1300, luxury boxes were 13,000, the 4th section was 70 dollars it's pathetic to act like he sold just 10 dollar tickets.

Sounds like Mayweathers fanboys are scared ****less of their hero having to face Canelo.

So you think the fight did a 7-8 million in revenue for ticket sales??? I highly highly doubt it. Canelo isn't getting 40%, Cotto didn't even get 40%.

Not a fanboy, I hope it happens. Canelo's stamina is shot after 4 rounds. I can only imagine him fighting with his hands down against Mayweather.

Mark my words, you can sig it, Mayweather will beat his ass the second half of the fight if and when it happens.
