Is that a joke? Canelo had way better defense then trout. Trout barely landed his jab, he was pawing into the air all night and then slapped on the inside and still missed 95% of the time.

yes.........Austins jab was touching canelo face for the majority of that fight.

open scoring hurt trout a lot.

but i don't understand how some of you have it for canelo in many rounds ,he didn't land anything whille trout was throwing a 100 punches maybe landing 20 and forcing canelo to go on the defensive.

neither impressed me tonight but trout came to win canelo took advantage of the open scoring and the bias judges.

Trout would've never opened himself up in the 9th/10th/11th rd. if he didn't know he wasn't getting screwed over.

I BARELY gave Canelo a 10-8 rd. in rd. 7. Trout did as well as you could possibly do after a KD.

This was fixed from the jump. Plain and simple. Sad day in boxing, and GBP is the new Bob Arum.

i understand the argument with guys saying canelo won on power (because he landed the more telling blows) but why do these same guys not understand that that argument can be twisted in favor of trout.

this is why i say it's a toss up fight.

hopkins landed the more telling blows while joe got off the canvas to outwork him on the stats.........the fight could have been scored ether way.

thats what i got too ..but your scores are pretty confusing.. if it's 8-4 in favor of trout minus 1 KD , should'nt you have scored it 115- 112?...it's a points system gentlemen.. canelo showed good defense but offense was too minimal ...

That's a good card.

Had to give Canelo rd. 2 because he landed that one nice uppercut, and caught him with something else that caught my eye.

Round 6 goes to Canelo because of the KD, which could've easily been a 10-9 for Canelo, since he literally did nothing after that, and Trout was beating him up right after the KD.

Round 10 goes to Canelo, because Trout was being too reckless trying to get the KO after hearing the atrocious scoring.

Same with round 11.

Showtime/GBP/ODLH/Showtime commentators should be ashamed of themselves. He didn't have a chance going in.
