Canelo's Power punching won him this fight.

I don't mind the win. I do mind that no matter what, Austin wouldn't have won anyway though. The open scoring threw a serious wrench in there and the only good thing about it is we get to hear how ridiculous judging is in fights that should be easy to score.
For instance, I'd have enjoyed open scoring inthe Rigo/Donaire fight. I'd have laughed my ass off hearing those scores, or donaire up LOL!Comment

He wasnt moved because trout pawed, pushed and slapped most of the time with. Canelo, would at times land hard clean powerful punches. Canelo would miss with the looping hook a lot but he also landed it hard many times. Trout was also missed 95% of the time with his jab and on the inside it was even worse, he went full calzaghe on him and started slapping and pushing while canelo slipped them rather easilyWe'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't think Trout won because of activity, not at all. I think he won because he did enough - he landed often. He doesn't have Canelos power and the kid is a tank. 5'7", 172 on fight night.... too many people put too much into heavy looking punches, Nelo isn't easily moved by leather, he's a stud.
I thought he was outboxed. He looked very amateur throwing those huge loopie baseball pitches. When fatigue set in, so did desperation, he began fishing for huge counters in spurts. He was tired because Trout did good work. That's how I saw it.
Going backwards and jabbing into the air is not "outboxing"Comment

No he didnt, please re-watch the fight and actually see when his jabs landed, its really obvious. He went full judah, getting scared to come into distance and land it, instead he went backwards and pawed with itdude, austins jab was getting through consistently. he was touching canelos face with it consistently..........austin throws a lot of jabs as range finders, so every single one them aren't meant to hit canelo. just keep him at a distance. and then ****, 10 will get threw in the round........thats landing the jab at a good rate.
what are you even talking about?

I literally couldn't have given a crap who won, because JMW is boring to me, and I was actually rooting for Canelo, because at least he seems to be the more entertaining between the 2.
That being said, Trout won 8 rounds to 4. 116-112.
Floyd would beat Canelo, but won't even mention Trout. That's the difference between the class of each fighter.Comment
