Going backwards and jabbing into the air is not "outboxing"
wait..........when did i say austin out boxed alverez? i said he outworked him. canelo barely threw any jabs. his power barely saved him in this fight (in my mind. forget the judges) the guy was gulping for air in many of the rounds while trout was swinging away (he was gulping for air not even throwing punches. let alone landing "slaps")

if a fighter isn't throwing (and another one is throwing, missing, but also landing here and there) thats called being out worked. the other guy isn't even throwing to miss anything. besides trout was landing his power shots too. all of them weren't just cream puffs.

again.....what are you even talking about

Twitter is heavy hating on Canelo, Ron Borge, Lou Dibella, and others seem almost racist against Canelo or something. Especially because it's in the Alamodome, they think they are such moral people ranting against the Mexican winning.
Dibella only likes it when a Pernell Whitaker or Rigo is ducking, doging, bobbing and weaving punches and making the other guy hit air. I guess it ticked him off that a ginger head from Mexico didn't get busted up tonight, trying to come forward like your average come-forward fighter against a slick, black fighter.

              Don't get offended now, Snob.

He was just making a point. The come-forward guy had the better defense tonight. Not the advertised Boxer and counter puncher.

Canelo won a ud over an undefeated, big, young champion. He beat the guy who he was supposed to be afraid to fight. He beat and knocked down the guy who so many thought would expose him as a fake and an overrated hype job. Many are still saying he is no good even after his win and are trying to say he did not really win. Trout is a damn good fighter and Canelo is a better one. I made good money betting on Canelo tonight just as I have made money betting on him these last three years. I will always bet Canelo to win and I don't think Floyd will ever fight him. Canelo is only 22 years old so he is only going to get stronger and better. He is on top of the world now. He is the champ at 154 and I am going to enjoy him for lots of years to come. I am still a Trout fan and will root for him against any other fighter but Canelo.

That being said, Trout won 8 rounds to 4. 116-112.

Floyd would beat Canelo, but won't even mention Trout. That's the difference between the class of each fighter.
I guess you are unbias and scored the fight the way you saw it. I had Canelo a clear winner. Not a one sided winner but a clear winner. Everybody has their own way of scoring a fight. It is impossible to prove who is right because it's just a matter of opinion. The one judge that had Canelo a mile ahead was totally out of line. A score card like that makes me think he was payed off. Trout won his share of rounds in my opinion. I think the knock down clinched it for him. I am sorry if I was rude. If you think Trout got robbed you have every right to your opinion. I am just a big Canelo fan who is happy he won. If Floyd and Canelo ever fight I will bet lots of money [for me] on Canelo.

More like Trout's lack of punching power and passive nature lost him this fight.

I wanted Trout to win, but this fight reminded me of Froch v Dirrell, in a sense that it seemed like Canelo (like Froch) was meaner and more determined, while Trout (like Dirrell) was too calculating and passive, even though he has the tools to win the fight. Trout was punching like a damn sparring partner most of the fight. He could have channeled his inner Rigondeaux and broke his HAND landing hard lefts to Canelo's body.
