Canelo is a money making machine and it will be very hard to win a decision over him on any fight. That scoring magin was way out of proportion!

I had Trout wining 12 round fight 7 rounds for Trout.

Oh well Canelo's next oponents are not easy let him celebrate while he can.

Well, 7 rounds for trout vs canelo 6 rounds with a kd makes it a draw..
It was a close fight, i think canelo won but even if trout won it would be fair.. In the other hand the judges scoring was a shame and those fuccers should be jailed.. Canelo has power and his defense surprised me a lot but his stamina is shyt, he needs to hire a s&c coach ASAP.. he gassed by the 7th..

I had it 114-113 for Alvarez. Very close fight could have gone either way.

Great win for Saul this will be a great learing experiance for him, but he really needs a big time S&C coach and a new trainer as well, and the long inactivity periods he takes between fights is hurting him as well.

I can't wait for his next fight for sure.

Trout won this fight easily. At the very worst you can score it 7 rounds to 5 in favour of trout. Canelo's punches always landing short and I dont see how he landed more punches than Trout. Trout outworked him with ease and Canelo couldnt even cut the ring off. I was watching it from Shobox and in that commentary Merchant was very bias in saying Canelo was way ahead. Id like to ask what commentaries you were listening to and who they got winning because seriously I thought this was outright robbery

I almost stopped scoring after I heard the through 8 scores. No matter who you think won the fight, Trout was robbed going in.

Alvarez is a fraud. Even when he finally fights someone legit, everything gets stacked in his favor.

when you have a 118-109 in a competetive fight like last night's...you HAVE to call it a robbery....nobody watching the fight had a score like that unless Nelo was deep in your heart...the only way!!

PERSONALLY, I thought the fight was super close and the championship rounds SHOULD have been relevant...they weren't and Nelo had the fight won by round 10 or 11....disgrace!!

end of the day, I wanted to see Nelo mix with a LEGIT dude in his division...he did...he boxed very well and showed tremendous reflexes....his head movement was grade A stuff...I was very impressed with his defense...his workrate ****** big time....the right hand that dropped Trout was more Trout's fault than Nelo's good imo....but the kid made him pay for that mistake like every elite fighter should

He got dropped and humbled. He never even tried to get back into the fight. Just flicked a weak jab and missed all night. Trout knew this and admitted he lost like a man.
