No, but if you correlate when Donaire fought them, to when Prince's most successful years were, when he was facing credible opponents, then they were all at FW.

No one said Hamed was a weak puncher, but Donaire has more skills, AND has a savage punch, plus has the skills to capitalize on Hamed's mistakes more than Hamed can capitalize on Donaire's.

I think it's pretty dumb to assume Hamed would only need to catch Donaire slipping a few times, and it's over. I think it would be a lot harder for Hamed to find him, than for Donaire to have outboxed him, and possibly stopped him before that.

one punch from hamed scares nonito into doing nothing. thats about as easy as it gets until he proves otherwise at 122-126

Maybe, but I disagree. I think Donaire has a good chin, and can be in the correct positions to not get caught flush more than a few times.

Hell, unless they fight, you really never know these types of things. Sometimes fighters take a power punchers best shot to the chin, and eat them.

You always hear commentators saying, "well, now we know he can deal with his punch." Not saying Donaire would constantly get tagged.

The mere fact that some of these posters honestly think that Donaire has a slew of advantages compared to Hamed is out of sheer bias. Hamed had freakish power in both hands and was similar to Sweet Pea. Only a technician could pose problems for Hamed. Hamed beats Donaire at '22 or '26.

It comes down to how you think the fight will play out. Do you really think Hamed can decision Donaire if he doesnt get the knock out?

Hamed's chin is good but he gets dropped quite often, almost no doubt he will get dropped at some point by a donaire counter the way he lunges in and keeps his hands down all the time. Thats a 10-8 round for donaire and there could be more than one of them. I dont think donaire is getting stopped being he has never been dropped. Donaire does have a lot of qualities to bother hamed, hes a good counter puncher, has a good jab when he bothers to use it, his speed negates the speed advantages that hamed is used to having and he has good reach for the weight.

I just cant see hamed outboxing him over 12. Donaire loosing a wide decision to Rigo means nothing because Rigo and Hamed are complete opposites.

Biggest thing that stands out in my mind in that fight is barrera's speed. People dont think of him as fast usually but there was very little speed difference. Barrera could catch him almost every time with counters when hamed missed. That and barrera being very patient, minus the time he slammed hameds head in the turn buckle for no reason lol.

Do you think Hamed had as much power in his punches as Rigo, if not more?

Donaire lunges when he throws his hook... you saying Hamed wouldn't be quick enough or wouldn't have the sense of timing to catch Donaire?

I don't dispute any of the great qualities you mention for Donaire, but Hamed's style poses just as many threats to Donaire as well. I think it would be an outstanding show whether it lasted a round or went the distance, but I'd give the edge to Hamed just based off what occurred last Saturday. If you think that highly of Donaire, especially after that runaway hype train of a 2012, I can't help you.

Nishi, hahaha, can't believe these posters on here about how great Nishi was.

Definitely. Hamed was one of the hardest punchers of all time.
