GBP owns it so they want to put and end of the mares-Rigondeaux-Donaire debate. But let's not forget some journalist are pretty ****** and even during the fight between Donaire and Rigondeaux they had it verry close so it could be just an old case of ******ity and not biased intent
The Ring is finished.

Transnational Boxing Rankings Board P4P Ranking
1. Floyd Mayweather
2. Andre Ward
3. Juan Manuel Marquez
4. Sergio Martínez
5. Manny Pacquiao
6. Wladimir Klitschko
7. Carl Froch
8. Abner Mares
9. Guillermo Rigondeaux
10. Nonito Donaire
Not the best list ever IMO, but a lot better than the crap that Ring Magazine has right now.Comment

Going into the fight I had Donaire #1 pfp. I did not have Rigo in the top 10 pfp. After his great win I think Rigo should enter the top 10 pfp. at about #5 and he should go higher if he backs up the Donaire win with more good wins. Rigo is quite possibly the best fighter in the world pfp. but I can't give him the top spot yet on one great win and only 12 pro fights. I dropped Donaire down to about 8 or 9 pfp. I have Broner about # 20 pfp. now. He could go much higher but he needs to earn it. DeMarco was not nearly a top 10 pfp. and KOing him was not enough to get Broner into the top 10 pfp. Oscar promotes him and that's why he is so high on ring's pfp list. The Ring took a nose dive in credibility when it was sold to De La Hoya. That's a big conflict of interest.Comment

This is nothing more than an outrage and a outright disgrace.
I'm shocked and appalled by this, I really am.
Rigondeaux made me a believer (And everyone else for that matter) on Saturday, but, I'm still not a huge fan. That said, you simple cannot deny the man his P4P place.
On which planet for you beat the Top 5 P4P fighter, and HE stays on the list, yet, the guy who won isn't on the list? What kind of sense does that make?
Completely absurd and nothing more.Comment

The Ring has been poor for a while now...Broner 6th! , Guerrero, no Froch, Mares or Rigondeaux.Comment

And in all honesty, outside of Broner I didn't really mind their P4P list as opposed to many others.
But now? Leaving Rigondeaux out and leaving Donaire in literally defies all logic and is just disgraceful.Comment

Its completely subjective, and any fool with an opinion, however misguided and misinformed, can make a case for his opinion.
Ever notice that the majority flocks to P4P debates but avoid who should be ranked where in the sport according to the numbers, rank and accomplishments?Comment

Those three fighters not being on a p4p list is crazy to me. Especially Rigo and Mares, maybe Froch shouldn't be there because of guys like Donaire and Bradley, but Rigo and Mares being left out kills credibility for any list.Comment
