On a side note i actually can't believe how good the commentary from HBO is for this fight. I'd half expected them to be riding Donaire's nuts despite him getting dominated.

Chasing a guy and missing is not controlling the fight. You're just wasting energy. Rigo gave him a boxing lesson.

        Absolutely right.

The only other round I thought I could maybe give him was the 7th, and I honestly think sympathy had creeped in at that point.

Donaire clearly lost, no need to argue this

No one is dis*****g that Donaire lost. Its the degree to which he lost that is in dispute by some.

I am in agreement that Donaire only clearly won round 10 and if one were to feel charitable, the 7th could be given away, because it sure wasn't a clear round for him.

i gave donaire 4 rounds on re-watch, no rounds donaire won were clear though except for the 10th, that's why people say he was whitewashed/dominated/outclassed etc and it's because alot of people on here dont know you can have close rounds that can be toss ups(e.g marquez-pacquiao is seen as a robbery, where marquez clearly won, despite alot of rounds being upto debate), also alot of rounds that i gave to rigondeaux were really close, but he was just a lot slicker and crisp and in control so i my opinion he won the fight no way you can't have him winning it

That's domination in my book. Everybody has an opinion. Scorecards will always vary from person to person, hell, my scorecard may change from watching a fight multiple times.

But when a guy only wins one clear indisputable round in a fight he has been dominated.

11-1 for rigo but I can perfectly see the inactivity level part...I still think mares would beat rigo...but not sayn that he's better than donaire..mares is the busier of the three...nd some one that's busy will out work a very inactive rigo

i watched it again and i can only confidently give 2 rounds max, 3 being generous.

rigo being inactive still had donaire being inneffective and inactive as well, so those rounds which may have been inactive, Rigo still wins on pure ring generalship ( which is one of the main scoring criteria).
