dude, Rigondeaux put on an absolutely fantastic boxing clinic. Only Donaire nuthugging fools see it any other way. Score cards are rarely an accurate refelection of a fight though, since its so subjective and judges vary on which of the four criteria of judging they actually focus on.......and with that in mind, if BOTH Leddermans said Rigo gave a shutout something special happened since both of them ALWAYS favor the obvious aggressor, unless the pure boxer is pitching a 100% shutdown (i.e. mayweather fights are the only ones off hand that I can think of where Ledderman scores it for the boxer).

      Who won the round?

That what ring generalship is about, who is in control of the fight and who is dictating when and where battle takes place.

Rigo was obviously the one dictating the pace, when to engage, and when not to. Therefore he was winning the rounds.
Agreed. Even the round where Donaire knocked Rigo down... took Rigo less than a minute to take control of the fight again..and slow it down to his pace.

Doesn't make sense to downplay Donaire, a guy they have showcased four times in 2012, 2012 Fighter of the Year and lineal 122 pound champ. They saw what, honestly, the majority of all of us saw. A dismantling and schooling of a P4P fighter. There's a reason most of us don't agree with you, and it's not because we don't like Donaire.

            Yes, I see that.

You're suggesting that the HBO commentators are part of a conspiracy to promote slick fighters? lol Bro, I love Rigo, but I'm quite aware that his style doesn't sell. The networks are in the business of entertainment. Entertainment sells. "El Chacal" may be a master boxer, but the only people he entertains are hardcore boxing fans. You're looking far too deeply into this.

I knew Donaire was overrated and overhyped the second I saw him ranked #5 on a few P4P lists ABOVE Andre Ward..... its like Top Rank paid this organizations to rank their fighter (as if he hasnt done that before)... (-_-) I think he was ranked that high after the Montiel victory... yeah it was an awesome KO...but everyone jumping on his nuts over it either has a very obtuse view of Boxing, or just got overly excited at the brutal KO.

I had Donaire winning 3 rounds at most 4, can't remember my score cards but no way I'm watching that again. Rigo moves so fluid and Donaire just chasing and punching air did not have no success cutting off the ring and when he did, he did not throw.

Donaire had to make it a rough fight in order to have some success.
As a fan I don't find Rigo active enough but Donaire didn't help his case he didn't throw much either if anything Donaire threw less and he was the aggressor.

I thought harold was spot on with his score, nonito looked like chavez jr vs sergio in this fight. You can see nonito just couldn't get off against rigo and missed a ton of punches but just because he's throwing punches and missing doesn't mean he should be winning rounds. I watched the fight twice and had donaire winning the 10th only, nonito was just lost and reluctant the whole night, sad showing for a lb for lb fighter. Garcia gave nonito no advice and in the 12th he didn't even tell him he had to go for the ko.

What didn't match the commentary? Rigo was dictating the pace, when ever Rigo got tagged, he Tagged donaire back IMEDIATELY, and much harder.

He was more active for the most part, and much more accurate.
