    Yes.

If one guys objective is to make the round a round where 0 punches are thrown, and the other guys objective is to throw 100 punch,

    and 0 punches are thrown...

    Who won the round?

That what ring generalship is about, who is in control of the fight and who is dictating when and where battle takes place.

Rigo was obviously the one dictating the pace, when to engage, and when not to. Therefore he was winning the rounds.

i hear you and you right it wasnt no shutout ... julie lederman had it best 116-112 but even the round donaire won besides the 10th he still looked lost and i honestly feel rigo gave to him and rested a bit like all greats do.. same thing sergio did to pavlik .. got understand this fight was for legacy ! if rigo slipped and lost he will never be talked about again.. while donaire if he loses still has his name sake ... so rigo had more to lose imo he had to win and look good in the next this is what people are forgetting

Bottom line is Rigondeaux won the fight and made Donaire look very ordinary...

If you can't see that, then your lying to yourself...

I know. I was being sarcastic.

So, when Lederman agrees with you he's right, but when he doesn't he's wildly wrong? lol I can accept that you award Donaire a couple of extra rounds, like Julie did, but 114-113? No way on God's green Earth.

Nah man Rigo clearly dominated that fight. I don't care about compubox numbers, in fact I think this time they were too generous with Donaire (I didn't see Donaire landing many power punches while compubox gives him a decent number on those)

Initially I gave Donaire only round 10 but round #7 was very close so it could've gone either way. 118 - 109 or 117 - 110.

Both of them were passive but Rigo was controlling the pace of the fight. You could see how Rigo wanted to reduce the pace and making Nonito think twice before throwing any punch at all. Whenever they traded punches Rigo landed the harder and more accurate punches. Also Nonito was missing way to many punches so if they both landed an equal amount of punches in one round it was clear that Rigo had a higher connect %.

For me it was in fact a boxing clinic. Donaire is very explosive and on Saturday he wasn't able to do anything, not because he was drained or anything, but because Rigo had a fantastic game plan and was able to completely neutralize Donaire's offense.

Don't get me wrong, the rounds donaire won, rigo gave away from inactivity.
                    3rd 4th 7th 8th were all Donaire's. 10th, donaire. 113

1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 11th, and 12th are ones I could justify for rigo, sometimes only by one good left hand or right hook, so I could easily see one of those rounds going to Donaire on a more biased persons card, resulting in a draw. 114 (cuz of the kd) The guy is just too inactive to win rounds in a shutout, I don't know what HBO is smoking but I want some.

                    114-113 Rigo

Btw compibox is effin broken at this point. Wow. You gonna tell me rigo landed 10 punches in the 8th? And that round they said Donaire landed only 3? Also wrong. Wtf is really going on.

You gotta ask yourself then, why is HBO hyping this guy like this? Saying he pitched a shutout, all of them. It screams agenda, and I think I might know why. Hbo lost Mayweather.. They need another slick virtuoso type. They have crawford and he's pretty good but Gully has two gold medals and will be easier to market than crawford. He's there new slick guy. He of course can't fill the void that is mw, but it gives them a credible slick guy.
