Fighting a 140 who isnt even one of the top 140 at 147 but oh well.

        How the mighty have fallen.

Good fight for mike seems like a good guy

Would've preferred Bradley/Marquez, but if Bradley-Marquez gets made, I'm not complaining

I didn't believe in Alvarado being a big enough name, but he did deserve it over Rios, and it looks like it was between him and Rios (Provodnikov to fight Abregu if he wins in April). I guess the name wouldn't even matter in Macau (for ppv in US). It's a good comeback fight. I think we'll find out where Manny stands as a fighter physically, because he should be able to win this comfortably.

So who'd u like for Pac next? JMM said no! Floyd wont fight him! Rios just lost to Alvarado, Pac already beat Bradley, Provodnikov was Pac's sparring partner! Who else?

Pacquiao would slaughter Alvarado. Real nice fight after his brutal KO though.

Forgive him, for he is ignorant.

It is alright for a comeback fight to show where Manny is at. Considering what happened it really isn't bad at all, plus Alvarado is coming off his biggest win and this is an even bigger opportunity for him.

It should also be a pretty good scrap from an action standpoint, even if Manny turns back the clock and puts it on Alvarado..

No I don't. I think the altitude of Denver makes it a better playing field or just about any place with high altitude. I think Alvarado can use his experience of training and fighting in high altitude to his advantage in a fight that sounds so one-sided. To even up the playing field. The high altitude might be a test for Pacquiao.
