Pretty good fight but it won't as easy as people think it'll be. Almost a year off, first fight coming off a KO loss to a bigger man who can move who has a great overhand right............the same punch that he just got laid out with.

Floyd already won the p4p war. Coming off a KO loss, standards have naturally been lowered for Pacquiao. He's is no longer seen as the unstoppable force he used to be. Plus Pac's style tends to mesh better so its easier to get excited for Pacquiao against other fan-friendly fighters.

I'd be happy if Floyd or Pacquiao fought any of the top 5 140 pounders.

Who else would you expect? Everything at 147 sucks and 140 is much more interesting. Do you favor anyone at the top 5 at 140 significantly over Alvarado? Except maybe Matthysse, but I think Alvarado against anyone at 140 is a pick'em fight.

Great scrap! PAC coming back after being put to sleep vs a young strong puncher in Mile High Mike. He did get rocked by that rios jab but he was able to withstand another 10 rounds where he was getting tagged by much bigger punches.
As for Floyd or the comment made about him of course we expect more from him he parades about how great he is saying he is better than Ali and SRR so yeah I expect him to truly test himself to the fullest after making such ludicrous comments. He can fight Oscar and Cotto at 154 but not Canelo or Martinez?
Anyways great fight and it will be very interesting to see who comes out on top. I'm going with mike only because PAC suffered a brutal KO loss so I'm still weary about him being able to take a punch. Can't wait

which is why i dont understand why people are ragging on floyd for fighting ghost ( a top 5 WW) but on topic I think pac should win this fight. If he loses i dont see why he would keep fighting, if he gets ko'd he DEF needs to retire

                    Too early for this fight.

As much as I hate Manny Pacquiao, there is no way he loses this fight unless it is in the high altitude of Denver which Alvarado is use to. This fight should take place in Denver because Pacquiao has a great enough skill set to the point where if this fight is put in the high altitude of Denver, It does not give Alvarado the advantage, It evens up the playing field. And if Alvarado beats Miss Pacman, Alvarado vs Rios III which most likely will be in Denver is immediately a PPV fight. However if the terms of Alvarado vs Pacquiao do not include Denver, this fight should not happen. In a place without high altitude, Pacquiao destroys Alvarado.
