If Floyd's resume was so great, he would've been fighter of the decade. Nuff said

Okay, good so then you support the Nishioka win.
You also support Manny Pacquiao as Superior to Floyd Mayweather as a 4 weight Lineal Champion.

Hatton was always a duck of Cotto. ALWAYS.

Maybe. But I think Floyd attempted to make the Cotto fight happen prior to him fighting Mosley, Quintana, IIRC...and Cotto wanted no part of it lol

Nish was an excellent. Win. And no, Floyd will go down greater than Manny- book it. Floyd still fighting champs and contenders and Manny recycling old fights and getting KO'd for his troubles.

People need to realize Floyd and Arum will never make a fight together, Arum even said when Floyd left that he'll never do business with Floyd.

It was only after Floyd announced he's retiring that everyone started the "He's ducking Cotto" campaign....meanwhile Cotto utterly avoided that fight when both were Top 140 lb fighters in 2005.

Besides....Floyd got Cotto while Cotto was #1 at 154 anyways, not prime, but still good.

I agree with this. I do wish Floyd had fought Cotto instead of retiring in 07', I thought he'd done enough for a Floyd matchup.

I do too. But I knew that would never happen. Arum and Floyd will never make a fight together, never.

When Manny's contract runs out with Top Rank is when we'll see Floyd-Manny. I just hope Manny is still decent enough, same with Floyd, that it still means something.

That is the opposite of how it happened. Everyone, including the "I never call out anyone" Cotto was asking for the fight, and Floyd stayed quite and waiting until Ricky Hatton called him out in the interview after the Castillo fight, and then he was like "OH **** YOU DID NOT CALL ME OUT! NOBODY CALLS ME WITHOUT ME WOOPIN DEM ASSSSS! I FIGHTING HATTON THAT ITS!!!!"

The Hatton-Mayweather fight was anounced Aug 1st barely a week after Hatton beat Castillo which obviously means that the fight was as good as done before Hatton ever fought Castillo, as of Aug 15th Arum began discussing putting Cotto in with Mosley.

Then he immediately retired, after Cotto beat Mosley.

It was a very very very clear avoidance of Cotto.

You can't pull the whole Toprank vs Goldenboy beef either... as Shane was obviously a partner at Goldenboy.
