Do some fighters willingly fight on the inside? Or is it only because they have to?

The thing with really tricky boxers is they will use both inside and outside techniques. There are counters to both individually but a guy that can do both effectively is much much harder to deal with.

Any guy that can do both would be foolish not to exploit both, except in situations where a guy can clearly be outdone in one and even then I think a guy should still mix it in even as a change of pace.

Referring to a boxer like Rigo. Then he goes on a childish rant with some ****** emoticons, saying that's the dumbest thing he's ever heard in his life. True story.

Posting a pic of Baby bull Diaz and Joe Frazier is the opposite of proving me wrong.
No, a better picture to be posted would be Pernell Whitaker.

      Or James Toney

      Or Bernard Hopkins

      Or Andre Ward

The list goes on and on.

This quote of yours "Why would you willingly fight on the inside if you don't have to?" is what this is about.

SOME fighters, actually choose to fight inside despite the fact they don't have to do it to win. This elludes you, and it's hilarious.

And it was actually YOU who started the whole "You don't know anything about boxing" stuff when I pointed out Pernell Whitaker willingly fought on the inside.

It's right there, all in that thread.

You're a lying, petty individual. Not even trying to call you a man, because you have no morals.

I said, and I quote, "WHY (keyword) would you fight on the inside, if you don't have to?"

Since you don't have any reading comprehension, you took that for me saying, "no fighter in the history of boxing has ever fought on the inside, willingly."

        You're a trip.

What does that have to do with what I said?

I know who that dude is, and his position pretty well. I can disagree with him like a man though~

You decide to take the thread out of context, and not include when I say, Pernell's opponent didn't respect his power like they do with Rigo's.

Styles make fights. Mares had to cut off the ring and fight Moreno on the inside to win that fight. He stuck to his game plan and won that fight. Alvarado boxed his way to a win agains't Rios in the rematch. You have boxers who move and use their legs and box on the outside doesn't mean they don't have inside skills they do. They have a great defense and hit you and don't get hit in return and make their opponents try to cut off the ring agains't them. The best boxers with inside skills are Sweet Pea, Mayweather, Rigondeaux and Ward.

Which most fighters do. It's called leading with the jab. That's only if your fast enough, and crafty enough to continually execute that game plan for all 12 rounds.

Some fighters don't have the craft to slip every punch, and use angles, so they're forced into a infighting match.

Trust me I know we disagree all the time, it always cracks me up though because if people want to call me that fine whatever I don't care but they throw that term around so much it looses meaning.
