    That's no coincidence.
I really expected more from you Bozo. Why does Roy differ from Leonard, Ali, etc. Maybe because Roy's tragic fall is something that would NOT happen to an elite fighter.

When Roy faced adversity, he folded. I don't care how you spin it in your favour. All of the GREAT fighters found a way to win, found a way to adjust. All of the greats dug deep, bit down on their mouthpiece and stuck it out.

Tell me one thing Bozo (very fitting name by the way), Did Roy avenge any of his losses with the exception of Griffin (if you can call that a loss)? The years of fighting cops, and construction workers caught up to him. He is nothing but a hypocrite, a fraud, and a complete package of HBO.

You're one of the idiots I spoke of earlier.

Roy dominated through out his prime, winning titles from 160 to Heavyweight. He beat 16 current or former world champions, and didn't lose until he was 35.

He lost a fight. It happens. It took him growing old and killing himself to make Lt Heavy again to make that happen.

You're just another jack ass who never liked Jones and takes the losses that came at the end of his career to spout your hatefull agenda.

No matter how you want to spin it, RJJ was one of the best of his generation, an all time great, and an assured hall of famer.

Can't believe the **** shed says. Why can't we use age and muscle loss as an excuse? He fought as a ****in heavyweight and had to lose 25 pounds of pure muscle. In case you didn't know, In Tarver 1 Roy had 11.5% body fat when he was normally weighing in at around 6-7% body fat. He also had an excruciating toothace which he got no medicine/shots for in fear that he would disrupt training. He was living off soup and salad for weeks to lose the weight and on fight night he didn't eat **** except some juice because of fear he would cramp up after losing all that weight in the last couple of days. He fought Tarver half-dead and still won the first fight, and in the second fight the first round was very telling in how the fight would play out (an easy UD). Usually I think Bozo is a jackass but I gotta agree with him here, Shed who do you not hate? You hate Winky because he has the best skills in the game and didn't want to lay his chin out on a silver platter against Tito. You're a pure hater and a jackass.

That was the best you could come up with?

Here let me spell out Roy Jones' career for you. Bernard Hopkins. The "Executioner" was Roy's first real test. As with every fighter whose talent he respects, Roy went into a shell and beat Hopkins in one of the most unexciting & stultifying middleweight title bouts ever.

James Toney. The Toney who showed up that night had seemingly dug himself out from under a mountain of fast food containers. He barely slipped off the feed bag long enough to get in the ring. Faced with a Toney who was quite & very ready to be blown away, Roy did just enough to win.

The first fight with Montell Griffin. I watched a befuddled Roy get smacked around more than he ever has to the point where he was flinching off of feints! By the time he finally got to Griffin he was so out of his element he fouled out about as
******ly as a fighter can. Granted, in the 2nd fight Roy FINALLY (and for the only time in his career), fought with the stones you would expect from a great fighter.

His fight with a 40 year old, totally shot, Mike McCallum. Roy froze and got extended 12 rounds by a fighter he should have gotten out of there within 5 rounds. A prime McCallum would have taken him that night. And again, he was flinching off of feints. Now tell me, would any of the fab 4 of the 80's (Hearns, Duran, Leonard, Hagler) fought fights like these?

The first step in providing a cure for your disease. You HAVE to take accountability for what you say. You saying something, doesn't always make it a FACT Bozo (Again, your name fits you well...you seem to be missing a few screws).

I'll spell it out for you: FRAUD.

Roy Jones the fighter of the generation? What about Pernell Whitaker? What about Oscar DelaHoya?

            You're a naive young man. It's a shame.

You're a bitter and hatefull person. Your biased drivel is a joke.

Nice job of summing up his career. Wins over other legends like Toney and Hopkins certianly help your "fraud" case.

And I said he was "One of" the best fighters of his generation.

              Certianly higher than Oscar.

Your take is biased and outright delusional.

Again, when I refered to the "idiots that aren't worth talking to" earlier in the thread, that was morons like you.

Thanks for coming out. The contrast works nicely.

When you have no argument, just resort to name calling.

One last thing: I rewatched the second Tarver fight, and up until the KO, Roy looked the same as ever. He won the first round easily and looked good until he got caught. I really think this loss was more a case of hubris and lack of proper boxing fundamentals than that Roy is shot.

Just another product of media hype. Truth hurts don't it Boozo.

You're a spitefull excuse for a boxing fan who gets off on calling one of the greatest fighters of the last generation a fraud.

The best part is you obviously know how full of **** and spitefull you are, yet you waste your own time spewing non sense.

Roy Jones NEVER went out of his way to seek out challenging competition. He created artificial challenges through bogus stunts: playing pro basketball the day of a fight. Knocking guys out with this hands behind his back. Singing (actually lip syncing) a rap song during his entrance into the ring.

He needed to create challenges through ring competition. And it seemed like whatever weightclass Roy was in, when competition seemed to get close, he bailed out and moved up in weight.

What if Roy fought Collins, Liles, Nunn, Benn, Eubank, Mclellan, Michalzewskis?
