Anyone else sick of Max Kellerman?

1st of I'm happy Rigo won. I told people he was "2slick2black" for nonito & he won me money.

That said I don't think I've ever heard a more bias commentator in any sport than Max Kellerman. This guy is garbage & HBO needs to fire him.

He clearly plays favorites & does everything to prop up his favs (Donaire, Broner, Berto, Peterson, Russell jr, I can go on. & he down plays anything guys like Canelo, Khan, guerrero do.


Correct me if I'm wrong but he said something along the lines on the show that Donaire is the greatest he's ever seen? Donaire is 1 dimensional like Danny Garcia.

I agree that he's biased and his post fight interviews are shocking. I don't think he's biased against Amir khan though - why did you mention him? He's often praising Khans skills. He had him winning against Peterson and said Danny Garcia had met his match after the first two rounds against Khan.

Every now and again Max reveals he's nothing but a boxing fan with slightly better than average intelligence. He's not worthy of his station. This is the wackest era in the history of modern human culture and he fits right in. Go Max.

That is a bit of a problem. I sort of chalk that up to him being such an obvious peeon that nobody has really every respected. He's constantly giving it back to people the way it seems.

Max has more boxing knowledge than most. He's of course bought by HBO now so he plays company man. He's paid his dues though.

I agree, Max Kellerman is horrible.

I had to switch over to the BoxNation stream on Saturday because Kellerman's commentary was so sickening.

It's not commentary anymore it's just drooling cheerleading. Needless. I thought he used to be good.

I remember Max,.calling the fight for Rigondeaux... Saying almost the whole fight he was being outclassed, schooled, and before claiming the fight could go either way.
