Nonito won 2 rds tops in my opinion... Really impressed with rigondeaux's speed and timing. I was certain nonito's speed was going to give rigo problems... Welp skillzpayzthebillzComment

wrong1) Donaire by TKO in round 7 - 10. Guillermo will try to engage and get caught a few times. After getting frustrated, he will be stopped.
2) Even if this bout will go the distance and will be close, Guillermo will never get decision.
So, I dont even see a possibility he will pull this one out....
Wrong.
WRONG!Both were counter punchers! But who's better? I got Donaire, he'd Koed most of his tough opponents by counter left hooks.
Better Puncher? Donaire!
Better Defence? Rigo? not really! As I saw him got tagged & wobbled by lesser guys than Donaire's!
Quicker? Donaire's a little quicker.
Busier? Both are economical with punches. Rigo bored me many times, Donaire a little busier.
Chin? This where Rigo fails!
Donaire by KO!! rd 3!!Comment

Some may say it was boring but I thought that Rigo's movement was an absolute thing of beauty. And with all the talk about Rigo's experience and he is the one that makes Donaire look like the amateur. As far as scoring I gave the 7th and 10th round to Donaire and that was about it.Comment

At one point in time I thought Donaire was a versatile fighter with tons of ring smarts and sharp technique. Somewhere around the Montiel fight he fell in love with his power and disregarded everything that got him to that point. It's amazing how Rigo dictated the pace of the fight while Nonitio chose to aimlessly follow him around without adjusting. Donaire received a boxing lesson, came up with quite a few excuses on his loss, had to apologize to his fans once again for a lackluster fight, but, the most telling sign was his hesitation on a rematch. People slamming Rigo should be asking why Donaire was hesitating to pull the trigger and punch his way inside. There was a reason Donaire threw LESS punches that an economical Rigo and it wasn't lateral movement. Rigo landed the crisper, clean punches and busted Nonito's face up in the process while displaying sick defense/ ring generalship. Props to Rigo for plying his craft in a masterful way! Donaire truly needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out how not to be one dimensional.Comment

the fight was so boring..rigo was running throughout the fight..i dont know how that could be considered as schooling someone..he got dropped big time by donaire..the only thing which won him the fight was running.Comment

Masterful stuff by Rigondeaux. I thought there was a decent chance of an upset, but never like this.
The fight was competitive for the first 2 rounds, then Rigondeaux gave him a boxing lesson for pretty much the rest of the match. By the middle rounds he was actually in cruise mode as he was that much in control of the fight, & that gave Donaire the only chance he had when he scored the knockdown. However it proved to be brief a moment, & Rigondeaux was pretty much back in control by the next round.
How anyone can score this fight close obviously doesn't know the first thing about boxing, as this was a masterclass in precision, timing & ring generalship.
Congratulations to Rigondeaux, & I would say the only person that can beat him at the weight is himself, by getting simply getting too casual. Skillwise he is simply a once in a generation fighter.Comment
