I said Rigo can and propably will win this fight. As a guy with chin issues he had the perfect game-plan to fight Donaire. It was not a verry spectacular fight but still verry impressive by Rigondeaux. And if you have a "boring" fight both fighters are to blame. Rigo just executed his gameplan and Donaire did almost nothing to change that, should have tried to be more agressive but he couldnt. Thats when you get schooled and dont know what to do.

Roberto Garcia has always been overrated he was as lost as his fighter

Donaire needs a new trainer, Garcia has too many fighters in his stable and he needs someone that can make him his priority. Mikey Garcia will always be number 1 bc he's blood.

For the biggest fight of Donaire's career Garcia choose to make Rios his priority and it was quite clear there was no established game plan.

Good for Rigo but I don't see him being in a big event fight again. He may be slippery but rarely does he engage, this is the pros you can't be throw 5 punches a round and dancing.

Right man won the fight tonight but I don't think I'd watch another Rigo fight.
After the 4th round it was going to be Donaire chasing all night punching nothing but air.

Was I really WRONG!!!! I was telling everyone how Donaire was going to either KO Rigondeaux or win a clear decision when Rigo felt his power & got on his bike to survive... But instead Rigondeaux boxed beautifully & dictated the pace threw out the whole fight, even after he suffered the knock down!! At one point Donaire looked lost, confused & scared to throw cause Rigo was countering the S H I T out of him!! & the very few times Donaire landed a good shot, Rigo retaliated right back with a better one!! Tonight Rigo made Me a believer!!! Great win & great performance by Rigondeaux & his team...
