        thats a true statement.

Of the people mentioned I would give Whitaker a good chance to make things difficult because he had defensive skills that could neutralize. But Whitaker could not really hurt SRR and good offense will beat a good defense somewhere down the line. SRR had so many damn weapons. Whitaker made guys who were elite like Chavez look outclassed but SRR stands supreme so we are left to wonder.

Floyd >>>> Sweet Pea. He doesnt everything better than Sweet Pea. If you give him a good chance youd have to give Floyd an even better chance
lmao wtf? go watch some tapes youngin.

2 totally different fighters. Pernell intentionally stuck his chin and tongue at you and still made you miss a 5 punch combination. Not to mention he was a good solid body puncher for somebody so defensive. His jab alone shiiiits on floyds work rate which wins him a H2H fight.

Sweat Pea and Leonard are the only fighters I give shot against SRR on his best day.

Williams and Margarito would be exciting fights with their work rate and chins but SRR is too much. He boxes Trinidad and Oscars ears off, and might stop a few of them, he definitely knocks out Pac and Hearns who would leave themselves vulnerable

Do you think Pea is actually a tougher fight against Robinson than say a much bigger Welter like Oscar or Tito? I know skills and speed sometimes negate size, but Pea was 5'6 1/2 vs Robinson's 5'11 1/2+much bigger frame overall.
In this case is Robinson just much too big+skilled for Pea to be effective at all?

Oscar and Tito would just be begging to get KO'd. The only chance you really have is going Matrix mode on him, and pot shotting him.

Only Pea would've been able to sustain that through 12. Of course, SRR would still rock his ****.

Edit: Woah, I totally misread this post. My bad.

Despite the bad rep, Margarito had a very good chin and put out amazing pressure. Williams throw 100+ punches per round and is one of the few welters that's actually bigger than Robinson (Williams at 6'2-6'3, Robinson at 5'11 1/2) Forrest had good boxing skills and Vargas is the perfect guy to drag Robinson into a pier 6 brawl. (The end result will be Vargas hitting canvas multiple times but it's not quite as easy as some will think)
Wait you realize Margarito takes him to hell and leaves him there right? .... he would brutalize Robinson and stop him in 10. He would knock out Williams and Forrest though, he would probably beat Vargas aswell.

Whitaker would be much faster and smaller which will make him very difficult to hit. It would kinda look like Oscar vs Whitaker but SRR is much better then Robinson with his offense and combination punching. He'd outwork him. Whitaker would really need to try to score more rather then just make him miss like he did vs Oscar. Would be as close a fight tho.

Robinson would be much tougher then Floyd because Floyd would be trying to be elusive and trying to counter but Pernell would outwork with his jab and Floyd would have a hard time catching him himself. Floyd might land cleaner shots then SRR because he's small and fast himself but work rate is key to beating Pernell. Pernell in his physical prime before he started messing with coke would smoke Oscar. Tho I can say for a fact I know Per ell was using before Oscar, he was definitely closer to his decline. The Sweat Pea that schooled Chavez beats everybody convincingly except the Sugar Rays

Please if you think Mosley was bad you better check up on some footage on another level of fighter in SRR
