Has popkins ever fought a Russian? Let alone beat one? Either way this is dumb. IF Nard is only responding why not respond to Kovalev? I know i heard crusher call him out after Campillo fight.

      No, I really wouldn't.

Golovkin hasn't even done anything at 160 yet.

Let alone 2 whole weight classes north.

As of right now, this fight doesn't interest me in the slightest. That could change, of coursr.

Is Hopkins trying to drag another fighter up two weight classes and ruin his career?

No one's trying to fight him at MW, that's why.

What if he brutally KO's Macklin, then Geale and Sergio clearly duck him? What's he supposed to do? Get a fight with Ward? That's not likely.

Get a fight with Froch/Kessler/Dirrell/Abraham/Bute? More likely, but won't happen.

Next best thing. Fight Hopkins, since both fighters are cool with it. I say why not? Lets get it on.

I don't think 3G has any business going to 175 until he's done at 160. Since he's got the Macklin fight a fight with Sergio is still somewhat in the frame. I'd much rather see that than Golovkin-Hopkins.

I know it's not his fault, but the fact remains he's done nothing at 160 yet.

I don't want to see someone who's done nothing at 160 fight a guy 2 weight classes higher.

If he beats Macklin then Sergio, the moves up to 168 and makes noise and then beats a top 10 at 175, I'd love the fight but that would take a few years and Hopkins doesn't have a few years.

I'd even like the fight if he beats Martinez then moves to 168 and makes noise.

I don't see these things happening before Hopkins calls it a day.

If the fight happens before Golovkin has even done something big at MW then I'm not interested at all in the fight.

Wait for it............But Hopkins is old he can fight anyone he likes.
Golovkin called him out first, dumbass. Hopkins is just saying that if he wants it he can get it.

I understand where you're coming from, but I have my doubts the Martinez fight will even get made. If it does, of course I'd prefer GGG/Martinez, but it doesn't look like it.

You gotta admit, it would still be a pretty fun fight to watch.

I agree with those who say he needs to prove himself before calling out legends like B-Hop, i mean, i didn't even know who this guy was until a few months ago
