I love how he waits until Golovkin's next fight is announced to respond to the statement Golovkin made a month ago. Smh, Hopkins is a *****.

GGG has a very good shot at being the first man to clean out and unify 160 since BHop did it himself. If he jumps two weight classes to get schooled by a geriatric, you can kiss that momentum goodbye. As a GGG fan, I'd much prefer to see him capatilize off his Macklin KO and fight Chavez, Geale, and Martinez.

As a Hopkins fan, and a growing Golovkin fan, Golovkin needs to stay away from Hopkins. Like I said when Golovkin first expressed interest in fighting Hopkins, that is music to Hopkins ears. I can only imagine a big smile on Hopkins face when he read that Golovkin wants him at 175. Those 12 rounds would feel so long, that Golovkin would feel like he just went through Kindergarten, Elementary school, Jr High, High School and graduated the University of Bernard Hopkins with a Masters Degree in Boxing, all in one night.

I'm surprised so many are interested in this match-up, cuz I'm definitely not.

Nah, it won't happen. First, it seems unlikely Golovkin would fight on Showtime anytime soon and that's where Hopkins is stuck thanks to his silly business partners.

Further, it is my opinion that if Golovkin beats Macklin, Sergio Martinez will fight him later in the year. Why am I so certain you ask? Because fat ass Chavez won't be back at 160, not with Olympic style testing anyway and that's what Sergio has demanded. So if no Chavez who is the biggest fight for Sergio? It's Golovkin. Quillin is stuck on Showtime, that won't happen. Sturm/Geale/Soliman are all being gay overseas. No money fight besides GGG.

Win-win for Golovkin. If he wins, he is catapulted into super stardom. If he loses, it most likely won't be by knockout, and as long as he comes to fight, no one would be that hard on him losing to a FHOF 2 divisions higher than him.

If I was GGG, I'd take the fight.

As we know, BHop went North from middleweight when he was 40 years old...
In 2008, BHop beat the then middleweight champ Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik at a catch-weight of 170 lbs.
It would be lucrative for BHop to meet JCC Jr.

GGG won't hit him clean enough to finish him. Hopkins takes him to school and wins a comfortable UD and boxing scene trolls will call it a cherry pick
