Because I LIKE the heavyweight division?

If I hated the heavyweight division and felt there was no talent in it, I'd never mention Haye.

You GOT to respect Wladimir, dude is the reining HEAVYWEIGHT champion of the WORLD. If he was so bum, some other guy would of already knocked him off. If the division is so bad, you would of thought the weightclass would have multiple titlists, oh wait the Klit bros are holdin it down!

Think about it, they've both lost their fight for the title or with their title, but they came back and reclaimed. That's a big accomplishment for HW fighters, Klitschkos are the real deal.

Plus a lot of Americans deep down have a problem with the HW champ not being from the United States(I know I do)

Stop being a hypocrite as per usual
This +1000. Its annoying coming here to talk about real boxers and real fights and seeing the front page of NSB dominated with threads about guys like Chris Arreola and Bermain Steverne. The Heavyweight division is nothing but a sideshow attraction anymore there aren't any real athletes just fat guys, washed up football players, and Crusierweights looking to get a few paychecks before retirement.

I don't watch boxing to watch big roided up freaks and fat dudes get jabbed in the face for 12 rounds by some silver spoon fed pair of Ukrainians, I want to see real displays of skill and talent and heart by real fighters. You don't get that with heavyweight division anymore.

Its true my obsession with boxing is 70% Heavyweights, 30% other divisions. I know more about the Klitschkos than Joe Calzaghe.

The history is so rich you can trace common opponents all the way back to the first guy without boxrec. (Wlad/schultz/Foreman/Ali/Moore/Marciano/Louis/Sharkey/Dempsey/Willard/Johnson/jeffries/corbett/Sullivan) You cant do that with Floyd Mayweather and the welterweight division.

            Not true.

There are plenty of good potential in today's HW division. They just tend to be from European countries these days, with the exception of maybe Wilder and Jennings from the US.

By the way, Arreola-Stiverne was a great fight, and we saw both talent (Stiverne) and heart (Arreola) in that fight. A good HW scrap with lots of action.

Haha - Try to get the Klitschko critics to do a side by side comparison of Wlad's and Holmes resume is always humorous. They will quickly claim that a 12 fight novice like Marvis Frazier is better than nearly everyone Wlad has fought. Logic and fact has no place in that argument.

The people that rip the HW division the hardest are the David Haye fans. Calling the HW division **** and the Klitschkos boring is their built in excuse for rooting for an @ss like David Haye and it gives them a reason to rally behind him and proclaim that he deserves the biggest fights for doing nothing.

Americans just seem to not care at all but they don't seem to spend nearly as much time bashing the state of HW boxing as the David Haye fanboys do.

What they need is a good American heavyweight to root for.

Maybe Deontay Wilder will be their man.

Lol once a solid American heavyweight comes along and he talks tough, you will see more interest in the division from American fans and media. He has to be black too.

I don't think they'll be happy or interested until they have the best heavyweight. They took the same attitude when Lennox Lewis was on top, complaining about the weakness of the division.

If the Klitschkos were black we'd be talking about how great the division is lol. It's just that there is a long held preception that the best heavyweights are always black.
