This seems rather strange to me.

If I thought a division was in bad shape - for example super featherweight right now - I'd have little interest in it and rarely post about it.

Yet the people who repeatedly say the heavyweight division is awful post about it more than any other division!

    TKO6.

Old, fat, Lewis > Prime Vitali.

And don't give me that, "If the fight had gone on, Vitali would have knocked out Lewis" bull****, either. If the fight had continued, Vitali would be permanently blind in that eye.

Also, if Haye knocks Charr out, that'll be TWO of Vitali's opponents he's beaten more impressively than Vitali himself.

      Okay.

So option #1 in the poll, right?

Maybe because of the history of the division? Some of boxing's greatest fighters and biggest fights have resided in the heavyweight division. Wouldn't it be a shame for people to just forget about it completely? I think people will always be intrigued by the division Klitschko brothers or not. People long for the days of steady competition and a loaded division. I really don't think true boxing fans have this animosity towards the division just because the two best fighters in the division aren't from their home country, that's just a little ridiculous.

Of course true boxing fans respect the current champion Wladimir Klitschko.

However, some very nationalistic people who are not true boxing fans constantly complain and whine about how bad the division is.

There are always going to be idiots on both sides of the issue but as a whole I think fans can appreciate what the Klitschko's bring to the division. They just lack the dancing partners necessary to please the general public.

That's for every topic. The people who hate Floyd talk about him the most and make the most threads. Same for Marquez being doped up ect

I can respect the two champs while still regretting that the division isn't as exciting as it could be. I, and many other fans, care about boxing and want it to become bigger in the world of sport; heavyweight, as it has historically always been the sport's go-to glamour division, is not doing what it could to make boxing big again.

I also acknowledge that many people on this forum are nationalistic arseholes.
