I agree with most of what you said.

Just not the stuff in bold. Its not equally as thrilling in its own way, its less thrilling in a different way, but still entertaining to maybe a bright person.

But even the bright person prefers his more primitive side! Its the way we are wired!

Even bright people prefer BJ's to Calculus! Or Foreman to Vitali! Its just more fun!

The beauty of boxing is the different styles that boxers utilize to win. If you can't appreciate them, you may not be a true fan. This doesn't mean you have to like every fighter but style clashes make this sport more interesting.

I agree the clash of styles makes things interresting. Theres still plenty of room for that.

What we dont want are games of tag, point scoring nonsence that isnt anything like real fighting, wrestling and hugging, running and other lamer tactics!

Its not the fault of the fighters they just adapt and do the smartest thing acording to the rules of the game. Its the rules of the game that need to be changed!
