That is a terrible attitude and approach to have a week before fight night. He is clearly underestimating a fighter who is a big threat to him. Rigo beat Mares in 2003 pan-american games 17-7.

Rigo is a great fighter....the only thing that is hard to get used to is he looks like he is ALWAYS wearing a mouthpiece!!!!!! Even when he was on the ledge of the building promoting the fight!

Rigo has a lot more tools to work with than Mares will ever have, and Montiel was KOd in 2. Hey, it's great if Donut-Aire is underestimating Rigo... it will make the end for him come that much quicker.

I'ma big fan of mares but lets be real here rigondeux is a bigger threat to nonito then abner. Rigondeux is the better all around fighter hands down.no argument he does every thing better. For nonito to be thinking this way is a mistake. I hope it doesn't cost him. Rigondeux is gonna make some fans the 13th just watch
