I don't think he is going to see one until he moves up.
You wanna see Mares vs Donaire, go watch Donaire vs Sydorenko, nothing entertaining about a mauling.

Donaire will win by tko vs rigo. I think Monticello and mares are definite,y tougher than rigo who has weakness with his weaker chin.

Mares's style would present more problems for Donaire

He's just baiting Rigo. Trying to get into his head and get him to open up and not be so defensive minded.

Anyone sleeping on Rigo will be in for a surprise. The guy is slick as hell and rarely gets hit with clean, flush punches. He has the ability to control this fight with defense and counterpunching alone but also has the power to keep Nonito honest. That being said, this is more of a pick em fight than most pundits are leading people to believe. If Nonito is overly aggressive as he has been the past few fights than Rigo turns this fight into a boxing match and wins a close split decision. Either way, it's hard to see a stoppage but I'd favor Donaire based on his overall body of work and pro experience.

Donaire flourishes when given the opportunity to counterpunch. Mares come forward style is tailor made for him because he only knows one way to fight.
