Ward is a skillful guy but none of his wins would be better than Rigo nor is his division as good (1 weight champ too)

Martinez knocks out a lot of guys like Donaire but again the competition isn't as good as some of the guys Donaire has fought.

Marquez great fighter but besides Pac KO (yes huge win), hasn't been doing much
who wanted to see donaire fight vasquez, mathebula and arce? please show some old threads where people were asking for those 3 fights

      #4 or #5 for me.

He still wouldn;t be a better fighter P4P than Mayweather, Ward, Marquez or Martinez.

This is where you fail, Rigondeaux doesn't even hold one notable win, damn good fighter but resume is lacking. Froch, Kessler and even AA have put it way more work than Rigo, I'd never go as far as to say the bold.

its tough if you make individual value judgements on opponenets like that. There should be some set of criteria. Frankly, I didn't want to see Naervaez or Arce, but you dont penalize someone for that IMO.

ALso, name value isn't the same as actual value. ARce has tremendous name value but he wasn't the great Arce. He had little chance against nonito.

The reality is he isn't beating Rigo in a month of sundays.

I understand the Filipinos are desperate for Manny to be replaced but its not happening. Donaire gets wrecked next week, get on that Brian Viloria train already.

One week, Donaire gets taken to El Chacal university.

Which is why it's important to put in work, I also think Canelo is an amazing fighter but if Floyd beat him today, like literally today, that victory itself wouldn't mean much considering Canelo hasn't beaten anyone. That said, I'm willing to give Donaire a lot of credit, but not enough to put him above Ward, Mayweather or Marquez.

Rigo is a tremendous boxer with an superior amatuer pedigree no question. But beating him at the pro level isnt the same as beating him at the amatuer level. We should be able to agree on that.

As a pro he is an 11-0 fighter. Respectfully, you cant compare his pro experience to a Froch or a Cotto or a Paul Williams. What Rigo has done as a pro may factor into your opinion, but it cant factor into his evaluation as a pro.

                  He is 11-0, not 433-0.

I think Rigo will win too, but if Donaire pulls it off he deserves serious credit.
