What he does need to be stressed out about is that, although he has had the opportunity to clean out an entire division and put himself in #2 P4P status, he doesn't have the right promoter to get him the fights he needs to continue this streak.

The only reason this guy was able to become a popular fighter was because he chose to enter a tournament where all the fighters were laid on his lap and he was able to shine through to Victory.

Now that he's back down from cloud nine, the fact that his promotional company sucks, and he doesn't have the charisma to attract fans, he's stuck.

He needs to figure it out quick because time ain't on his side. He's starting to become a fight-once-a-year fighter and is losing the momentum he had to be that superstar.

His promoter landed him Chad Dawson just after the Super 6 and a hand injury, he was then set to face Kelly Pavlik before injury struck again.

      His problem isn't promoters, he's injury-prone.

        word!!!

Golovkin is good...but Ward has a superior game

Does anybody know who Ward will fight first? As he's coming after a shoulder surgery? It will be a tune-up fight for sure. But Dre speaks and speaks, but doesn't have his next opponent named...
Anyway Ward has a fight in his pocket for later this year: Froch, in England -- for a big payday.

His manager was asked that, he said they'd try to get Pavlik again.

he should be pursuing Chavez Jr as plan "A" and B.Hop as plan "B".....anything else is kinda irrelevant atm

No way. Hopefully after Martinez-Murray and Golovkin-Macklin, we get Martinez-Golovkin and every one will then see Ward-Golovkin as beyond a mismatch, because I don't think he even makes it past Martinez. I almost don't even want to ignore Matthew Macklin and his chances, because really, that's where GG is right now. We don't know just how good he is but Macklin is a good step up in class.

GGG puts Wards face in the ground and makes him eat dirt.

He has a lot of options.

If Chavez Jr and Golovkin come up to 168, Ward is in luck. That would be music to his ears. Two easy fights [despite him saying otherwise about Chavez Jr], that people feel would be "tough" for him, especially Golovkin. He could further build his name with those two wins. Then he has Rodriguez, Pavlik, Steiglitz, and the winner of Froch-Kessler II which I honestly don't like that much, he beat both of them handily. He has LHW to look at, the winner of Pascal-Bute, a rematch with Dawson for his Ring title. If he can get Hopkins, that's great for him, but I suggest he stays away from B-Hop. Although a lot of people think Ward would defeat Hopkins at this point, including me, I think Hopkins would make it ugly enough to make Ward look worst than he did in the Bika fight and Ward may lose some stock after such an ugly fight.

Chavez Jr? Really? That seems like an utterly pointless fight to me. It's nice to see Ward get paid and all but it's a waste of time as a boxing match. Jr has absolutely nothing to offer in that fight.
